Chao Phraya Reviews
I love your food! and I live 40 minutes away. It's 2:00 pm on the Friday after Thanksgiving and I'm craving lots of things from your menu! I know you close from 3 to 5 pm, so I thought it would be wise of me, and helpful to you, to go ahead and call in my order now... to be ready for pickup at 5:15 pm. Whoever answers your phone says "we don't take pre-orders" (really??) and that "we are really busy right now" (which is great! that's exactly how you want to be!) but alas, my desire...read full review
Had lunch there yesterday with another couple. Everyone’s food was great. Service was great, too. Highly recommended!
Delicious and we order there regularly for both Thai and sushi. But no reservation policy on a night when there was a performance in Kilmarnock meant they were slammed and our 5:15 arrival left us getting takeout for our entrees at 6:30. At least we got to have a drink and appetizers so stomach grumbles were muted.

Chao Phraya is a hidden gem that takes pride in its culinary offerings. The Pad Thai, Calamari, sushi, and Goong Houm Pa are all praised for their freshness and flavor. The atmosphere is inviting, with friendly and attentive waitstaff. The restaurant's decor, featuring photos from Thailand, adds to the ambiance. Guests can enjoy dishes like Satay, dumplings, Tekka Meke roll, and Tom Kha Gai soup, which are highly appreciated. While the food is consistently good, service may sometimes be slow, with sushi taking around 45 minutes to arrive. The restaurant is a popular spot in Kilmarnock, known for its great food, welcoming atmosphere, and kind staff. It is considered a top-rated Thai restaurant in the area, despite occasional wait times.
