“this is a hidden treasure I have only eaten there twice yesterday Veterans Day was my second time I took my best friend since 7th grade out for her 63rd birthday and then we spent time up and Fancy Gap we had a wonderful lunch there talked laughed cut up enjoyed our time together there was a man sitting over the side of us and I would like to thank him so much for buying the Apple Dumpling for us he was a very nice man we talked about what he was eating and that's what he was eating he said they were to die for he left and then when we got finished the waitress brought us an apple dumpling with vanilla ice cream on top it was truly amazing so again thank you to the nice gentleman whoever you are I hope you see this and I hope they tell you cuz he said that you came in you said that they can't you came in a lot and I highly recommend this place I give it a 10 star”

“First time here, read a few reviews, and I would agree..The Food, service, and experience was great! Our service was great. It was a little bit of a wait, but that was expected. Wings were good, if yoy like them crispy, just ask, I like mine crispy. The pork chops were the best we've had in a long time! They were perfectly cooked, and beautifully grilled!! Salad was great! And the sweet Potato was perfectly cooked as well!! Let your cooks know they are doing an amazing job, and it is appreciated! Thanks for am amazing meal!”

“Steak, veggies & rice were amazing! My husband had 1/2 supreme pizza and half Hawaiian pizza. He said it was perfect! The cannoli’s were also a nice treat. They also deliver so it made our last night of vacation so relaxing not having to worry about cooking ❤️”

“most amazing place on the planet my 18-wheeler broke down on the highway yesterday ended up at Motel 6 called to see if they delivered but they didn't but the nice lady told me to hang on and I think she put her husband on the phone I think his name is Mark and he offered to bring me the most amazing barbecued beef sandwich I had ever eaten I wish there were more people like this in this world it would be a better place”

“I tried Jack's for the first time this afternoon and I can honestly say that was some of the best food I've ever eaten. I got the blackened chicken sandwich, baked Mac and cheese and loaded ranch potatoes. The marinated tomatoes on the sandwich set it off.This is my new favorite place to eat. I highly suggest you give them a try. You won't be disappointed.”

“We visit at least once a month. My family loves the variety offered.

Vegetarian options: There is a variety of fruit and vegetables on the salad bar. The hot food bar offers vegetables, but I would check with someone on the ingredients.

Dietary restrictions: I have Alpha Gal Syndrome, and I have to be very careful not to eat mammalian meat. The choices and information have prevented allergic reactions.

Parking: There is plenty of parking around the building, and with shared businesses.

Kid-friendliness: There are plenty of child friendly foods and drinks. They also have booster seats.

Wheelchair accessibility: The facility offers wheelchair accessibility throughout the building and in the parking lot.”

“A convenient place in Pipers Gap road. They offer most convenience store items and made to order food reasonably priced. This is the only store around this area for quite a while so if you need a drink or some food or the various other things this is your last chance for many miles heading towards Lambsburg MTN.”

“My 4 year old and I ate dinner for the first time at Libby Hill and it did not disappoint! Everything was fresh and delicious! The customer service was phenomenal. Our waitress made sure our drinks were full, brought us our food quickly and interacted with my toddler. We ordered calabash shrimp, chicken bites, slaw, hushpuppies and fries. The shrimp was everything I wanted to fix my craving. The chicken bites were the most comforting, best seasoned fried chicken ever! My son loved the hushpuppies and the house made ranch was perfect! We will definitely make more trips to Libby Hill!”

“Very good food! I love LJS! It's a very underrated restaurant. We don't have but this one anywhere in our area. I have no idea where the next closest is.
It is very expensive these days. It wasn't ever super cheap, but it is most definitely priced high for paper plate kind of restaurant that is self-serve. The fact it's the only one in our area, I would think the owner of it would try to keep it looking more up to date and clean. Outside was little run down, and the door on condiment cabinet was literally hanging by 1 hinge and standing open.
The employees weren't very friendly. They were very attentive to the order screen but not so much the customer. Had to wait for someone to eventually speak to us and finally take our order.”

“Yellow Curry with tofu & Pho ?
The Curry was surprisingly sweet with notes of cinnamon and slight hints of spice thats not overly spicy, more so warm and pleasant. It's always been a go to but the Pho was a nice change up. With the side variety of Basil, bean sprouts, *lime, and a spicy sauce, you can customize this dish to your own liking.
*the lime was kinda over powering in the Pho so add in small amounts.”

“We loved this place! The food came out fast and was really good. We had to get a chilled glass for the bottle beer because it was not very cold. But that has been almost everywhere since we've been working in North Carolina.”

“EL RIO GRANDE IS MY FAVORITE RESTURANT. I USUALLY EAT LUNCH THERE WEEKLY. I ENJOY THEIR SALSA AND CHIPS, AND USUALLLY CHOOSE SOMETHING FROM THE COMPLIMENTARY SALSA BAR. MY FAVORITE FOODS ARE THE LUNCH SPECIAL #1 AND #7. SERVICE IS ALWAYS FAST AND ABOVE AVERAGE. MY ONLY CRITICISM IS THE FAJITAS ARE USUALLY SERVED WITH THE ONIONS AND PEPPERS ALMOST BURNED. AT LEAST THAT HAS BEEN MY EXPERIENCE SEVERAL TIMES, AND FOR THAT REASON I NO LONGER ORDER THEM.”

“My fiancé and I had with no exaggeration, the best meal we have had in Mount Airy since moving here a few years ago, at Plaza Del Sol. He had the birria quesotacos (highly recommended!) and I had the California fajitas. We shared the chorizqueso appetizer and it was fantastic. The food was very well seasoned, fresh, and overall delicious. The service was fantastic, our waitress was bubbly and attentive and we were also helped by no less than three other servers just as competently. I never had to wait for a refill on my drinks! We will be back to try more menu items soon!”

“Amazing breakfast everyday. Always and fresh never disappointed. After hurricane Helene, BK was hopping slammed for breakfast. Only two employees were able to make it in. One of those employees was Star. She was running the drive thru and the front counter and there was an amazing cook. Even tho some people didn't understand Star kept going and smiling. Her Customer service was way above expectations. We get to see her often because we love BK and especially the breakfast. Promote her above others, don't lose her!”
