Shaved Ice Restaurants near Leesburg, VA

“I can't wait to get back to Leesburg, VA! The last time I was there, I was able to visit Ono Wai Shave Ice for a second time and when I return again in a few weeks, I'll be stopping by on a daily basis each day I am in town. I'm telling you, I am craving it! We have so-called shave ice here in Boston but it's not like Ono Wai's. Ono Wai serves their's with ice cream at the bottom - YUM- and a drizzle of sweet cream on top! It's like 2 desserts in one because by the time you get to the bottom, the flavored ice made the ice cream frosty and sweet - like a creamsicle- but better! The hardest part of ordering this little cup of heaven is choosing the flavors - they have 25 differently flavors, apparently imported direct from Hawaii! I've had a wide assortment of their flavors and they are all exceptional!“

“Italian ice is great but customer service leaves much to be desired. Got there before the posted closing time and they were closed and cleaning. Looked at me like I was crazy when I knocked on the door to figure out what was going on.“

“Pretty much every time I go to The Garage I get their gumbo, even if it's just a side for something else I ordered. Their food is so flavorful and hearty. It's not imitation Creole but the true deal. Highly recommend. Also went to their special event for a boil bag and it was absolutely amazing. Great food, good company and delicious drinks from the bar. What more can you ask for?“

“Rita’s is always a treat! The Italian ice is so fresh and flavorful! You can really taste the difference compared to other places. I love that they have such a wide variety of flavors, and they’re always adding fun seasonal options too. The staff here are friendly and patient, even when the line gets long. Everything is super clean and well-kept. I definitely recommend getting a Gelati (ice + custard) it’s the best of both worlds! Perfect place for a quick dessert stop, especially on a hot day.“
