Pretty much every time I go to The Garage I get their gumbo, even if it's just a side for something else I ordered.
Their food is so flavorful and hearty. It's not imitation Creole but the true deal. Highly recommend.
Also went to their special event for a boil bag and it was absolutely amazing. Great food, good company and delicious drinks from the bar. What more can you ask for?

My first time at the garage on king and my first time trying gumbo. Staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. We will most definitely be returning soon.
The fried catfish platter was delicious, and the staff were extremely friendly! I can feel right at home in Martinsburg knowing BayluNOLA is right down the street

While prices may not be the cheapest for lunch, the quality and flavor make it worth it. The hard chairs and limited drink choices are minor drawbacks, but the excellent service and flavorful dishes make up for it. Overall, Bayou Nola provides a taste of home for Louisiana natives and is a must-visit for anyone craving Cajun and Creole flavors.
