We had tried a few places before popping into this lovely place and none of the other restaurants could safely accommodate our food allergies. This restaurant made us feel welcome, safe, well taken care of, and gave us a tasty meal and kind service-all in a fun atmosphere. We will definitely be returning! “Cake Krums catered my wedding and let me just say they were some of the tastiest cupcakes I’ve ever had! The cake was absolutely beautiful and they even brought it to the venue, set it up and made signs for the different flavors. The set up was beautiful and everyone loved the flavors we chose. Thank you Cake Krums, even though I am a pretty good distance from your store, I will be choosing you guys for any future events and referring you guys.”

“My wife and I were in Culpeper today to attend her uncles service at the Culpeper National Cemetary. After the service was looking for a place to eat. My wife and her uncle are Greek and I noticed this gem while looking through Google. We decided to go in his honor. Charlottesville has many Greek owned restaurants but our trip to Albanas was our first time at a place that served totally Greek cuisine. I can't think of the right words to describe our experience that would do justice. I think I have found a new favorite restaurant. The food and atmosphere was so delightful and amazing. The food was so fresh and everything is made in house. The pita bread melted in your mouth and my wife and I ordered the Gyro and we both commented that as Gyro fans it was the very best we had the pleasure to sink our teeth into. We had a awesome Greek salad as well and the dressing was so flavor packed and refreshing. Can't wait to make the trek back to Culpeper again soon to partake in this great establishment. We met Albana while we were there and she was very nice and you can tell she takes great care and pride in what she serves and the customer service from the other staff was supurb as well. This was also our first experience at a restaurant where a robot brings your food out to the table. I was very impressed with the people, food and atmosphere. Culpeper definitely has a little corner of Greece in its midst!”

“My husband and I stopped through on 10.14.23 as we celebrated our 23rd Wedding Anniversary of 10.14.2000. We each had the eight 5oz flights, pizza and side salads. Oh my!! We're here with The Unsuitables too...they're amazing! We love live music!!!”

“Visited this morning for the first time. It was a fantastic experience. The staff were helpful, friendly, and most importantly knowledgeable. We made three selections. Two were guided (I was looking for an aged Cheddar with crystals) and one impulse buy. All were excellent. This is not the cheese store for your average American cheese consumer, but the perfect place for those with more experienced palates. We will be back!”

“unfortunately no chicken came.out cold. brisket dry. and sides were very poor.. Mac and cheese. was separated from cheese and the oil from cheese. beans tasted like Hormel chili beans . chicken that was cold was reheated. and came out with bone and cartilage. just very disappointing for $67 would not recommend. . not to mention the direct view into the kitchen and prep area with various cross-contamination stainless bowl full of batter that they use to dip fish or maybe hush puppie batter . it is not in an ice bath just very very bad experience”

“Wife&i stopped in for some tastings on our way to our anniversary wknd south of the Shenandoah Park, had a couple delicious Reds & loved it so much we walked out with a bottle of the Old Rag Red! Price was as lovely as the rustic hilltop where i’m sure we would’ve seen the prettiest of vines, as we visited on a brisk November afternoon!! Great conversation with the owner and because of that I’d love to come back with the wife and stay in one of the 2 cozy cottages onsite!!!”

“My family had the best experience meeting the Bowles food truck at a carnival. I have two small (and picky) kids. I was elated to see collards, fried okra and fish on their menu. I asked about food allergies right away and I was grateful for the thorough discussion about how they batter the fish fresh and ingredients. Their staff was so easy to talk to and my kids happily willing to wait for their fresh food. I can’t tell you how flavorful everything was! Seasoning was unbelievably delicious so good-we had the shrimp and whiting fillet with fries and okra. So many sauce options. They have platter options and larger portions. Combos. Drinks in coolers. So much delicious food. Do yourself a favor and find their food truck next time. Can’t wait to dine here again!”

“We have loved Rhonda’s hot dogs for years and because they are so tasty and because of her outstanding customer service, she is a “regular” at all of our special events here at Bees & Trees Farm! While we love several of her dawgs, this newest one (with the avocado) is OUTSTANDING! Never would I have put these flavors together, but they create such a party in your mouth you just HAVE to try it!! It comes spicy or hot! Check this bad boy out—thank us later 😉”

“One of my favorite, if not the absolute best, places in Culpepper!! The chef is Italian and cooks everything from scratch. Not a microwave in the joint. We couldn't believe how good the food was. We come here every time we pass through on the way to Lake Anna. The cocktails are also on point, with a prohibition flare. There is great history here too! Ask for Sam, she's either bartending or serving tables. You won't regret it!”
