“Ate a late lunch here today. It was amazing food. We tried a lot of different items from the menu, and there was nothing bad. The AC was not functioning properly in the restaurant so it was a little warmer than we cared for, but the food was amazing.“

“The food is great. Even the mild has a kick so I cannot imagine how hot the hottest one is. Service was fast. The reason I gave this a four is because an employee was on his break and taking up an entire large table with the only cushion bench seats. We had to sit at a two top because he was taking up a large table alone and for the entire 45 min we were there. This was on a Saturday night at 6 pm. So a peak time and it was full, half way through we were able to put two two tops together when someone left. They need to teach their employees to allow paying customers to sit in their seats.“

“2025 update: family size “palabok noodles”, bucket of fried chicken with gravy, and mango-peach pies we had was so savory and simply delicious!
The fried chicken is so good with or without the gravy. Their peach-mango pies are delicious! The Filipino noodle dish called “palabok” so scrumptious with a squeeze of lemon juice.“

But, I was SO disappointed in the size of halloumi. $9 for 5 TINY AND THIN slices of halloumi and a 1/2 cup of chili jam sauce. The halloumi side dish was bigger than my "shareable." “I’ve had more hangry joes since I’ve moved out east than any other restaurant, my family and I *love* it. Biggest caveat, which is one of their strengths, is that the restaurant makes everything fresh… The spice levels have been variable at the five or six different ones I’ve been to! I only get mild, it sometimes the mild is too spicy. Then I’ll ask for “no heat” and it will be completely unseasoned…. If I could just find some consistency in their mild, I’d be good to go. LOL So far my favorite location has been crystal city around the pentagon shops. They always add ranch, and the cook is impeccable!“

“My car battery died so I stopped by after getting that fixed next door at K&B Auto (Tom is great btw).

The Lomo Saltado was by far the best thing I’ve eaten in months. I’m sitting there enraptured and the manager happens to walk by to check on me; probably due to the stupefied look on my face. He was super nice and I told him how much I loved the food. The guy up front also introduced me to drink Maranon and taught me about how it comes from the cashew apple (apparently cashews aren’t nuts too lol). I walked out to my car specifically to grab a $5 tip.

Sure no one wants a dead battery but given that it lead me to this experience, I can’t even be upset about it!“

“Was in Springfield today and wanted to grab something different for dinner. I’m happy that I stopped Village chicken. If you’ve never been here I would definitely stop and give it a try. We got the chicken, souvlaki bowl and lamb Gyro and a shredded chicken bowl. They were are absolutely amazing! We will be visiting again soon!“

“This branch is very impressive, unlike the 2-3 other branches I've visited.
- It's a kid-friendly branch, featuring a children's zone that's about 15ft x 10ft in size, as well as organizing events for children on certain days and times. The restroom has a step stool for children to reach the sink to wash their hands.
- There are many staff members who constantly walk around, asking and taking care of customers.
- The indoor seating area has about 20-25 tables for four people, including regular tables and a counter bar. There are 3-4 tables outside.
- It has a separate parking area from other plaza zones and a drive-thru.
- The restroom has tissue paper, soap, hand sanitizer available, as well as a diaper changing station.
- The day I visited was Thursday around 6:30 PM. The restaurant was packed and full of children, with only about 2-3 empty tables. The drive-thru had a continuous queue of at least 5-6 cars.

[Personal Opinion]
- This branch is suitable for families with children but not for people seeking peace and quiet because there are quite a lot of children who are noisy and running around everywhere.
- The restaurant size isn't very large, and the interior space feels quite crowded and cramped.
- The staff at this branch seem to be very well-trained. Everyone constantly asks about customers' needs and satisfaction and regularly cleans various areas.
- If you plan to buy food via the drive-thru, you might have to wait in line for a while because, as far as I could see, there were a lot of customers at that time.“

“Love Pollo Campero! The only downside to this location was when we ordered our two-piece chicken meals, they said it was going to take 40 minutes because they had to make more chicken! It only ended up taking 10-15 minutes, so that was nice, but shouldn’t a chicken restaurant have chicken ready all the time? Super yummy though! Love the plantains 😋“

“This specific branch of chick-fil-a is my go to place on a regular basis. The staff members are very helpful and friendly, specifically Tyferri H. He is very customer focused, attentive, and addresses me with my name every time he assists me with my order. Not many retail restaurants do that. Tyeferri is surely an asset to Chick-fil-A. “Came in here on a rainy and cold February day. The restaurant had three other customers who were enjoying their meals in store. I chose to get the chicken soup. The lady at the counter said she would let me know when the food was ready. It cost $15 for a large portion of soup, yams/yucca, carrot and reasonably sized chicken portions. The flavor was great and I was even asked if I’d prefer rice or tortillas. I chose the rice which was also very flavorful. I also purchased a bottle of Kirkland water. Overall, I would give the food an 8 out of 10.“

“We had a late dinner tonight (Saturday). I enjoyed my Cobb Salad so much that I forgot my purse in the restaurant when we left. As soon as we arrived home almost 20 miles away, I realized my purse was missing and it was already 9:30 PM which meant the restaurant would be closing in half an hour. My husband jumped in the car and headed back while I tried calling the restaurant. After about 4 attempts calling I finally got through and was informed my purse had been found and I could pick it up the same night. My husband got there about 2 minutes before 10 PM and was handed my purse with all its contents intact. I am so impressed with the honesty and caring manner in which this situation was handled. “Husband and I stopped by for lunch. There was a wait for chicken tenders but we weren't in any rush. Staff was super friendly and apologetic, making sure to keep us posted on the status of our order. We love Popeyes, but haven't had much luck with service at other locations. So this was a pleasant experience and we will return here.“

“Wide variety of Central American foods on the menu. Not just Peruvian chicken. Love that they serve chicken and beef soups. They are so pretty - a great alternative to Vietnamese pho - and a popular menu item. Passion fruit drink was yummy and not too sweet. Will try cashew fruit drink next (marañon).

Vegetarian options: Steamed broccoli/cauliflower and carrots, green beans, rice with beans or veggies, yucca and potato fries, plantains, tortillas, pupusa with beans and cheese.

Dietary restrictions: Plenty of options for gluten, dairy, soy free types. Soups, meats, rice and beans, steamed veggies, tortillas all safe. Not exactly sure about marinade on Peruvian chicken.“
