“Yafa Grille location in Lorton, VA is out of this world! We ordered the chicken shawarma, steak shawarma, and a chicken bowl — and every bite was absolutely incredible. The chicken was juicy, the steak was tender, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The chicken bowl was overflowing with fresh, vibrant toppings — crisp arugula, juicy tomatoes, crunchy cucumbers, briny olives, and sumac-seasoned onions. Everything was unbelievably fresh. Their garlic cream (toum) was next level — light, fluffy, and made fresh with healthy ingredients. The hummus was velvety smooth and full of flavor. You can truly taste the quality and care they put into every dish. This was hands down one of the best Mediterranean meals we’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back!“

“This was our first time and the “bearded guy” was so helpful. We each got a taco and told him to make them however he likes them. He asked if we were allergic to anything and then delivered 2 incredible tacos. All of the flavors and textures were so well balanced. We will definitely be back!“

“I ordered DoorDash had the Combination of Quabili Palau and Chalau, served with meat sauce and one skewer each of shami, chicken, and lamb kabob, and it was outstanding.

Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The Quabili Palau was rich and aromatic, the Chalau was delicious, and the meat sauce tied everything together beautifully. The kabobs were all excellent—the shami was tender and well-seasoned, the chicken was juicy, and the lamb was flavorful and perfectly grilled.

The portion size was generous, and the quality of the food was exceptional. The staff was friendly, and the overall experience was great. If you’re looking for authentic Afghan cuisine, I highly recommend this place. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“I initially went here to drop off a package for Vinted SpeedX, and since it happened to be a restaurant, my family and I thought to eat dinner here as well.

First off, staff here is wonderful and a delight. They were accommodating for my package drop-off, ensuring that I had taken a picture of everything for reassurance purposes, which I hadn't even thought of.

As for the service, it was great. They engaged in lighthearted conversation with my family, & I saw them providing warm hospitality to another table as well. Such a cozy and family-oriented place. In regards to the food, the chicken is SO delicious! I couldn't stop thinking about it for days. I highly recommend and would come back!!“

“We visited this cozy little restaurant tonight for the first time. Excellent food and service. The people who work here are very friendly. Very diverse menu. They specialize in Yemeni and Ethiopian food. We shared the vegetarian platter, which is Ethiopian. We also shared a pot of wonderful Middle Eastern tea, boiled with milk, cardamon, sugar, and maybe some saffron. We will be back.“

“I love it here. I wish I took pictures. But I was just so happy the entire time I forgot. Everything about Saba is beautiful. The food is amazing. The people are kind and sweet and happy to have you there. Our waiter was Hamza. He was wonderful and helpful and so sweet. Whenever anyone asked me any question all I could say was “I’m so happy”. Because truly, everything was lovely. I cannot wait to come back. I will be telling everyone I know about my very happy experience here.“

“We enjoyed a really nice eat-in lunch at Kabul Kabob Express today. My partner ordered the Qabili Palau and received a perfectly prepared, heaping plate of this famous Kabul specialty, with lamb that was fall-off-the-bone tender and juicy, and a side of stewed chickpeas. For me, at the all-you-can-eat buffet I helped myself to delicious yellow dal, spinach, and simmered eggplant, a main course of chicken stew & brown basmati rice chalow, and a good bowl of rice pudding for dessert. Also, we both were pleased with the fresh, hot tandoori naan. For a good-value meal of excellent Afghan food that is served up expertly and quickly in a cheerful diner-like atmosphere -- I recommend this place most highly!“

“Dining at shababi was an absolute delight. I came to celebrate after I finished taking my board exams and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. To start they brought some hummus topped with shredded beef and beat spread, which the former was my favorite. They later brought the roasted chicken which had been marinated for 48 hours plus. Every bite was so flavorful. As this is a pop up I recommend you go soon and get a feel for Palestinian food“

“This was my first experience with this type of food, and it was good! Very filling, the single protein platter was more than I could eat in one sitting, and I'm a rather large eater. I would go back. However, I would say The Halal Guys are comparable to the Little Ceasars or Domino's of their place in the industry. If you want to play it safe with a commercialized version of Halal food, then this is it. Please don't take that as a negative, Little Ceasars has its place in the market & it's time for when necessary, and so does The Halal Guys.“

I have not met a person who enjoys doing their job as much as he does. There are multiple halal guys locations but none of the workers have such a positive attitude as Julio. “We ordered a variety of food. For starters we loved the veggie samosas with The chutney sauce. The rice is flavored with cinnamon and it will not disappoint. The chicken kabob boneless platter is tender and full of flavor. Our favorite kabob was the chicken with green chili skewer. The rice pudding was so on point we ordered an extra side to go.“

Local, friendly staff that are attentive to their customers; it was our first time there and they answered our questions We even got two free samosas’s (chicken and veggie) while we waited for our food that were so flavorful and tasty! We got the butter chicken combo platter and chicken & lamb over rice; they were amazing ! Presentation was great and they were so flavourful! We also got a mango lassi that was sooo good; wonderfully creamy, fruity, and refreshing. Highly recommend giving a try and can’t wait to go back!“
