Never going back super disappointed. At first it was great been going there for years don't know if they changed who makes the sushi and rolls but for the past year the food has been awful. Today's order really made me angry overpriced and a disaster.
This was such a nice dining experience. The food was delicious.I was hesitant to go all I kept hearing about is the expense. For me a couple of hours of conversation laughs fresh food fine dining it was worth Every penny. I’m not sure about being expensive not for what you get.
Awesome food and amazing staff! The portions are large so I always end up getting a to go box. Sushi is always fresh and sooo good! 🍣 The staff treat each other like family and it's just a really fun atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

Yamato | Japanese Restaurant offers a well-run dining experience with the option of entertainment from a personal cook or regular table service. The food is consistently good, with many praising the amazing and fresh sushi, excellently prepared meals, and a simple chicken and shrimp hibachi dish with vegetables and lo mein noodles. A crispy crab tempura appetizer is presented very nicely on arugula with delicate sauce, and a simple salad with ginger dressing is a highlight. The chefs are always great and have great personalities, with kids loving to see them cook in front of them. However, the table seating can be a bit cramped, and the restaurant could use some updates, as the interior is very run down and sometimes has an unpleasant smell. The salads could use improvement, often being mostly lettuce and watered down. The teriyaki chicken is another in sauce, and the miso soup is just soy sauce with broth. Some guests have felt rushed by the staff, who can come across uninterested, though pricing is fair. Overall, good food with solid potential.
