“My group went here first midway through our ski day. Although it took awhile to get seated, the food ended up being better than expected. The pulled pork bowl was a hit (substitute the chili sauce for carolina bbq ;) The rockfish sandwich knocked Anna's socks off with a perfect batter to fish ration. The wings were also a hit among the group. The homemade bourbon bbq sauce had the group wishing we had a bottle at our house. The cozy lodge atmosphere made it the perfect break during or after a day on the slopes.“

“We stopped here after several hours of hiking....very glad that we did. Some of the best burgers we've had and reasonably priced. I had the brisket burger which was very good, also the sweet potato fries are excellent. We also had the bone in wings which were on special, also very good size and excellent sauce. If we are ever in the area again we would eat here again.“

“We came here on a Tuesday afternoon and had a nice lunch. The prices are pretty reasonable, but the plates are small (which is fine for lunch). It's a little cramped and loud, good college town atmosphere. Food was good. The specialty is the Sticky Nuggs. We got some to go.“

“To begin, I was in Va for the Christmas holiday visiting family. My sister suggested a shopping day in Dayton. Once shopping was over and hunger set in, we made our way to Cuban Burger in Harrisonburg. I must say, what a find! The staff was so receptive and kind! Our waitress took our order, of 1 appetizer of Empanadas and celantro dipping sauce! Wow! These were outstanding! My sister had the Buenos Dias burger and fries. I had The Big Maka and fries! The burgers were so juicy and loaded with flavor! The 80% beef and 20% pork really was a special kicker in flavor!!! We both just loved the place and thr food! We agreed that we will return on my next trip to Va! So, if you are ever in Harrisonburg, Va. Stop by Cuban Burger and enjoy the fabulous burgers and libations!!“

“Looking at the menu, it looks like Mexican kimbap heaven (there are too many to choose from), but they are very friendly and keep coming back to check if the food is good. And they serve chips and salsa before the meal, and it's delicious! There is a lot to eat. To be honest, the rice wasn't that great, but everything except the rice was delicious. If you look at the picture of the menu I ordered, I can't remember the name...“

“We discovered this place while on a trip to Massanutten VA and were excited to check it out. Parking was a tad difficult, especially depending on what time you go, so be sure to give yourselves time to walk from the parking lots to the building. We were seated and our orders were taken quickly. It was a relaxed atmosphere with a younger crowd. They have many interesting flavors of margaritas. We tried the coconut and the blueberry basil margaritas, both of which were wonderful. We each tried three different tacos to get a few unique flavors. Unfortunately, we weren't overly impressed with the tacos. They were small and overpriced for the amount that you get. The seasoning wasn't quite up to par. However, there is a lot of potential in the concept, and the combinations sound great together (I love trying unique flavors). Maybe the chef was feeling off the day we went, so I am giving 4 stars for the tasty margaritas and potential for great unique tacos.“

“Had a phenomenal first experience here and will definitely be returning. Had a wonderful conversation with one of the bartenders, Gabe, and was more than happy with the quality of cocktails. It's a refreshing break from the general college town bar that is the usual for Harrisonburg.“

“We had a party of 9. Staff was great. Friendly and accommodating when we decided to change tables so we could all sit together. We got the smoke wings, burgers, fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks and the Mac n cheese. Everything was great.“

“We were on a bar crawl and I THINK this is where we did most of our hanging out - it was the end of the night lol They had some excellent shooters and the other drinks were great too! The back deck atmosphere was exactly what we needed at the end of our crawl and appreciate the experience for sure!“
“My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Montpelier Restaurant and Bar for Valentine's Day, and it was an absolute delight. We consider ourselves foodies of local restaurants, joking that it's our hobby, and Monty's truly exceeded our expectations. The food was exceptional, showcasing flavors that left us craving more. But what truly stood out was the impeccable service. Despite my pregnancy limiting my cocktail options, the staff went above and beyond to craft a special mocktail that still felt festive. I even broke my no-leftovers rule because the dishes were just too good to leave behind. The kitchen graciously provided extra sauce for my meal, ensuring that I could enjoy it just as much at home. It took everything in me not to lick my plate in the restaurant! Their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction left a lasting impression. Needless to say, we'll be returning with friends and family in tow. Highly recommended!Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free options as well“

“Great place to hang out. Good bar food. Good variety on the drink menu. If there's a bartender present, they can also accommodate mixed drinks. Cheese steak sandwich was excellent. Purchased armband at the door gives you unlimited access to most games including duckpins bowling, pool, darts, video games, ping pong, skee ball. Halo is extra. Would be great to see an old school pinball machine or two. Bowling had some issues. Pinsetter kept losing pins. Finally gave up trying to get a perfect set. It's a vintage machine and so much fun to watch it work!“

“SNOW TUBING: My advice would be to get your tickets on a week day because it's cheaper & it's not as busy!!!!.... Each session is an hour and a half long...if u make it down the slopes at least 5 times then you did good with your timing. Upon arrival you will check in at the front desk with your printed ticket info and they will have your actual tickets ready in an envelope waiting for you. Each person in your group will keep their OWN ticket ZIPPED UP in their LEFT POCKET!...this is because each time you ride the conveyor belt up the hill you walk past a scanner that beeps to let you continue on. (It scans the left side of your body) Also obviously wear lots of layers!...and don't forget your glow sticks if your going during dark time when they have the "northern lights" !“
