Our dinner came before our drinks although they were ordered at the same time. I ordered my lamb medium rare and it was well done - no pink anywhere. After waiting so long, I wasn't inclined to send it back and wait another half hour. Not likely to return.

This is my favorite restaurant in the DMV and it's not even close. We took our neighbors to Aracosia last night. Our neighbors are not very adventurous when it comes to trying new cuisine, but after listening to me rave about Aracosia for years, they decided to give it a try. They ordered the dumpling trio, lamb chops, and beef tenderloin and they LOVED everything. They're already planning to bring their families back for more. The food is authentic and always cooked to perfection. You will not find more tender and flavorful lamb, beef, veal or chicken anywhere. The atmosphere and service are always perfection. The staff is friendly, helpful, and they provide the perfect balance of careful attention and respectful privacy.Again: #1 restaurant in the DMV! ...and it's not even close.
