I've eaten here 4 times since the summer and I've never been disappointed. The food and service are excellent. My wife gets some kind of fish every time. The prosciutto is my favorite appetizer. I've eaten in the front, in the courtyard twice and indoors once during the time of COVID, and they do a great job with outdoor service. For some reason, I've been eating a lot of Italian food lately, and Assaggi is our go to place.
Lovely place, the food was really good. I didn't realize it was a collared shirt/nice shorts kind of place so I felt a little awkward but they didn't see. To be bothered by it.It's a bit pricy for the volume of food they give you. Complimentary bread when you sit, decent kids menu, delicious entrees--I had the prime rib, probably 6 oz. Real authentic Italian menu and cooking. My Florentine husband loves this place and he is very picky...honestly his mom is the best. But when you aren't eating authentic cooking in Tuscany, eat authentic cooking here.
