this is the type of place i’d want to gatekeep, but as a small business they deserve to be known. amazing service, kevin is always attentive, the lentil soup is so good- actually all their food is. and it’s great to have a latte (pistacinno, spanish & cardamom are my favs)

Quality, service, aesthetic every aspect of this cafe was very well done. The owners attention to detail and the welcoming vibes hit you as soon as you approach; we were greeted before we even reached the door. The staff were very attentive and you could feel the positive synergy between everyone working. Aside from the atmosphere everything we ordered was delicious! A great find on a lovely Saturday.

I walked there with a neighbor and ate breakfast. They were kind to deviate from the menu a little though the bread type was incorrect. I kept it as it was made. A very small price to pay for their kindness. The customers were all well-dressed and refined. A very classy yet informal place.

Great spot to do work from, chat with a friend, or take a work meeting. Perfect for a light bite- the zataar w/labneh was excellent as was the pistachio creme filled cookie!

A little too much zataar on our manoushe and we were missing the side olives and tomato cucumber salad. They were a tasty side that we encourage you to bring back. Love everything about this place!

The lattes were great. However, experience with food was mixed. The Levant cheese press was good and so was the Shakshuka. However, to include only 1 egg in a $16 Shakshuka seems very overpriced (would recommend trying the Shakshukas in Silver Diner as a much better alternative). The kids grilled cheese was super bland served inside a pita. Overall, not a brunch place we would go back to as a family. It’s a shame, since we could use more neighborhood brunch/cafes in downtown McLean.

The croissant sandwich is absolutely delicious! The pistachio hot coffee is also my favorite! Highly recommended!

We had a very disappointing experience at this café. The food was not good, and even worse was the service. My order was served undercooked, and when we politely asked for it to be replaced, the chef came out and yelled at us with a visibly angry attitude. I was genuinely shocked — I’ve never been treated like that in any restaurant before. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Prices are off the charts. Couldn’t understand the idea of why we spent so much and still left hungry and unsatisfied. For this price you get amazing food elsewhere.
