What a gem of a place! Authentic French food with a very cozy vibe. Went there on Saturday night and was pleasantly suprised. Recommend so many things we wanted to try escargo crepe were great appetizers and will go again to try some great main courses. Great local place!

We were extremely disappointed with Cafe Tatti. While the service fine and the atmosphere excellent, the food quality was poor and barely edible. The appetizer, escargots, were not warm and was a tepid temperature; the special for the night, cod, was likely left of a warming table too long, was tough and could be cut only with a knife. Overall the meal was not served warm.
After writing my review the owner immediately got in touch with me, listened to me closely, expressed her deep regret at the experience, and offered to set all things right. Her outreach to me was much appreciated and indicated she is deeply interested that all of her customers have a positive experience. She did, indeed, set all things right and I will return to Cafe Tatti some time in the future. I’m certain that all will go very well.

This place is a true gem! Not only is the service fantastic, but the charming decor and classic French dishes transport you to a European brasserie! I highly recommend the salmon, scallops, escargot, beet salad, and any of the soups. In the words of our son: “5 stars!”

We had the best service!! They had the best carrot cake, I’ve ever had!!! Giovanni the chef is amazing and very welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be back!!! My daughters loved it and they have beautiful outdoor seating.

It's such a nice place, nice staff and the Chef is just such a welcoming person who made my evening very relaxing. I got a great table. I enjoy my sole that was with every mouthful a truly light and wonderful dish. Just the right amount of veggies and every touch to the dish just heaven. Presentation was so inviting as well. I really found the place to be a no brainer return visit. I loved the menu from appetizer to desserts, great choices. From chocolate mousse to burrata. I would've loved the duck confit but I it was missing from the menu. The veal schnitzel sounds tasty and exciting too. Not much I didn't like, in fact nothing. Everyone in my house wants to join me next time. Great spot. I traveled a while to try it and I'd come around again soon.
We had not visited Cafe Tatti since the new owners took over. We went today for a birthday celebration and were so impressed by the restaurant's ambiance ( quiet, outside), quality and service. The new owners are a lovely Turkish/ Italian couple who went out of their way to provide a meal off-menu (veal marsala), which was delicious. One of the daily specials was scallops in lobster sauce...which was also fabulous! We truly felt that we were en famille as regulars in a local European restaurant. Surrounded by so many new restaurant in McLean, give this classic family restaurant a try. You will not be disappointed.

My friend took us here last night and it was such a pleasant surprise. It's a quaint little family owned restaurant. The service was excellent, the chef came out to welcome us and make dish recommendations. The food was amazing, fresh, fragrant, delicious. We ordered the Tagliatelle Bolognase, the seafood special with sea scallops, shrimp, mussels, in a lobster sauce with capers and kalamata olives. We also ordered a delicious salmon dish. Such a lovely, cozy evening, with great food! The restaurant across the breezeway was bustling, but they must not know how amazing the food is here or they would be coming here over and over again.
