Being from New Mexico, I am leary of Mexican restaurants in the east. But, I had the Ranchero Enchiladas and they were delicious. My wife had the Barria Tacos and loved them. Highly recommend the spicier green Chile salsa, it had a great flavor and a nice heat.
They take to long to ask if you are ready to order or drink.
I feel they take care more of other customers they know.

El Tio has become one of my favorite easy spots. It’s just so family friendly, which honestly makes all the difference when you’re out with kids. The food is consistently good and comes out fast, almost quicker than I expect sometimes.
And I have to say, the unlimited chips and salsa never gets old. It’s such a simple thing but it feels welcoming, like they actually want you to relax and stay a bit.
