1 st time here .,my Japanese friend took me here. I love they import noodle very crunchy and soft ( drunken something noodle ) I forgot the name . The cocktails here is good too. I will be back if I’m in VA again

This was my very first trip to Washington, DC, and my younger brother insisted on bringing me to this restaurant. I’m so glad he did!

As soon as I saw the name Esaan, I knew this place would be special. It instantly reminded me of home. The food was incredibly authentic and tasted just like what I eat in Thailand.

I wouldn't say the food wasn't good, but I expected more authentic E-San Thai food, and the food was a bit pricey compared to the portion sizes.
