The Spiced Iced Tea was amazing as always, service was super slow in the beginning. The restaurant was near empty when we arrived - they sat us behind a large column. We had to repeatedly try to get someones attention. The popovers were doughy and not light like they used to be. Chix Salad was ver good.
Delighted I found this hidden gem at the NM Cafe in Tysons. Terrific food with menus that change along with specials. I've invited guests there on several occasions and they have all been impressed with the food, service and friendly atmosphere. More importantly they have surprised by the great quality and attention to detail for a department store restaurant! Every time has been a wonderful experience. Waitstaff was really good. Only issue was that I don't think my pear was roasted in my “roasted pear salad.” It tasted just like a canned pear! Rest of food was good. Always like the tortilla soup, as well as the little rolls with strawberry butter.
