Excited to see a Shilla location in the mall, I’ve been to the other locations too. I went around 6:30pm on a Wednesday and it wasn’t busy, the self serve breads/treats was limited as expected for end of day. Got a few items, the cookie croissant, strawberry roll slice, almond cookies, and custard bun. The cookie croissant was over hyped because it’s dry either bc it was the end of day or bc it’s a day old croissant repurposed? Stick to the tried and true Asian buns. The roll cake looks moist but haven’t tried it yet.The black bubble tea was a 1 star. The tapioca tasted a little burnt. When I sipped it, immediate I tasted the drink mix crystals like it wasn’t dissolved or shook well enough. Don’t recommend the bubble tea, go to the other specialized chain bubble tea shops in mall.

Love the trio bingsoo. The bakery is also delicious. It is always packed and there are not enough tables but it is worth it.

So many fresh pastries and desserts! I LOVE the corn cheese pastry (and huge portion for $4.50). Well worth the stop any time you're in Tysons.

Got the red bean bing su out of nostalgia. This Shilla location is new but I used to go to other locations growing up. The bing su was good, but I didn't like the peanut butter powder on top (tasted like PB fit from Costco). I think it would have been better to add water to it so that it was a peanut butter drizzle instead of so powdery (like doing the cinnamon challenge). The staff at this Shilla were nice, but they didn't have any samples and had a smaller bakery selection than the Shilla I was used to. They have seating inside which is nice and I liked the decor.

This place is above the McDonald's and Panda Express! Anyway, great tasting pastries but I'd say the snickerdoodle isn't worth 4.50 even though it's still delicious. However, everything else was definitely worth a second visit! My wife and I both thought the chocolate roll was better than the matcha roll.

Do not come here if you want authentic Korean desserts. I got the bingsoo, which was basically 3 ice cream scoops on ice. It didn’t have the most important ingredients of bingsoo, such as red bean. Also, the rice cake was hard from being out too long.

The tea comes out boiling hot. Could not taste anything after the first sip. The tea was still steaming after 15 mins. Cannot enjoy it when is this hot. Don’t need to be that hot to properly extract flavors.

Hidden Gem! I was walking in the mall and spotted a store that seemed relatively new. Went out of my comfort zone and bought 6 assorted pastries and I couldn’t have made a better decision. The price of the buns are amazing. 2.50 for a well sized and filling sweet bun is swell and appealing. Filling was very light and flavorful. My only critique is to have a possible ingredients list for the products, as it is a somewhat self serve bakery, and people like me who have dietary restrictions would appreciate it even more.10/10 The atmosphere was relaxing, seating was nice and decor was pretty. Bakery items are delicious and fresh, while still affordable. Can it get any better?Vegetarian options: Very friendly to vegetarians. Most pastries have no meat.Dietary restrictions: Pastries and food differ and appeal to anyone with restrictions.

I was at this branch yesterday, Dec 21, 2023 @ 1:22:19 pm, to check it out and buy some bread. It was my first time to see this bakery coz I’m from New Jersey. The cashier was so rude to me. I bought 7 items ( bread ) worth $20.56. She told me next time use the basket and she said it with an attitude as if I’m stupid enough not to use a basket…. I told her I did not see the basket!!! It was my first time walking into that store! I was so excited to see all the amount of bread, pastries that they have, not knowing the cashier sucks with an attitude! I told her I didn’t see the basket and that I understand her but she continued to be nasty and rude! I told her there won’t be next time since I will NOT come back to this store!!!!! HOW RUDE and I AM A FIRST TIME CUSTOMER TO THIS STORE!!!! NEVER AGAIN I WILL SUPPORT YOUR PRODUCT!!!

In my opinion, one of the better food options in Tysons. However, bread was not as fresh as other Shilla locations and tables were definitely not as clean. Nonetheless, staff were super welcoming and helpful. Location is great.

I ordered and iced chi tea latte with oat milk and their version of an Levain cookie. I enjoyed the cookie it was not too sweet. The service was great, the staff answered all my questions. The ambiance of the bakery was very clean for a busy Saturday during holiday season.
