The Union is our family go-to. Quality food with caring staff and an excellent place for coming together. They combine tastes from all over the world in a wonderfully unassuming way. Giri and team are the best!
We arrived mid afternoon and we were able to order immediately. I had the grains bowl with salmon, while my companion had the burger. He asked for the burger to be cooked medium rare. My grain bowl with salmon was good. My companion's burger was over cooked and was dry. Just sort of adequate. But at the cost of the burger, should have been very good. In the end, disappointing.
Friendly service, food came fast and wow delicious- flavorful watermelon gazpacho, crispiest sweet potato fries I’ve ever had, super soft bun on really tasty Pibil chicken. Iced tea nothing special but there’s only so much you can do with tea right? Upscale vibe with slate tray plates, heavy fork/knife and linen napkin. A bit pricey but worth it- $38 for soup, sandwich & iced tea by the time tip was added. Excellent variety on the lunch menu!
