“We eat here every single time we come to the DC area. It is my favorite place to eat. The Scotch Eggs, Shepherd’s Pie and Guinness Stew are our favorites. The staff remembers us and welcomes us. The owner is awesome. We can’t recommend this place enough.“

“We are from Buffalo NY down here on vacation. The host was absolutely amazing we sat at a high top by the bar and he came over and offered to move us to a bigger table so we had more room!! The bartender was our server and he was so attentive and on top of everything. They had a large school party that had about 50 people in it and they did not let that slow them down at all. At the end of that party we ended up speaking with one of the owners and he was so nice! We ended up finding out the host had family from where we are from and that was awesome! The food was amazing, portions were huge! Moral of the story the whole staff was amazing the food came out with perfect timing even with the huge party. Pricing, food, friendliness all worth it here they were amazing“

“Huge selection of whiskey and bourbon and great cocktails as well. I had a sip of my Bourbon, and I liked it, but I'm not a fan of the oak barrels, so I had the bartender make me cocktail. You made me a simple whiskey sour but it was the best thing ever because he used all fresh juices.“

“I love this place, every taco just melts in the mouth and the portions and prices here are amazing. The bibimbap I got this time was saucy and tasted like heaven. The churros are crispy and made to perfection. THE FREE SALSA to die for, it’s super delicious.

My only issue is they used to play good music and now they just play the remixes? Like every single song but remixed and it honestly takes away from the experience bc it gets really repetitive and annoying. They could just play anything else.“

“My wife and I had a fabulous date night. Out of everything we had, they were 7 for 8. Our drinks were very good. The cast-iron cornbread was exceptional. Moist, slight hint of sweetness and the herb butter put it over the top. The biscuit basket was another hit. My wife ordered the gumbo and I had the burger and tots. Everything was divine. Then came the dessert. My chocolate peanut butter bacon bar was decadent. However, the banana pudding was not to my wife’s taste. It may have been a bad night for the bananas. She said there was no sweetness to the bananas. Overall, definitely willing to visit again.“
