While the mill, beauty, history, photo ops have made this site a favorite stop for ten years the restaurant is not a favorite. The wait is very long and they close the grill completely mid morning so the pancakes cannot be cooked after. The construction on highway near mill 2023 delays arrival
by 40 minutes. The waitresses seemed over worked, understaffed and uncaring. I will bring a pic-nick basket next time and NOT use the restaurant.

The scenic trails and working water wheel make it a picturesque spot for photos and exploring history, especially during the fall season. Despite the temporary closure of the restaurant, the site continues to be a favorite for visitors seeking a peaceful, historic experience.
