What a treasure this place is. We were going to the Jon Pardi concert in Richmond, and looked on-line for a place convenient to the venue. Olde Towne Smokehouse was listed, and since we love finding new BBQ opportunities to check out, we headed to Mechanicsville. First, shout-outs to Chase, who gave us guidance on ordering, and was spot on, and cooks Johnny and Michael, who did an expert job of preparing some absolutely to-die-for BBQ and sides. I had guests from out of town and they really raved about the quality, flavor, and value for the money of the food from Olde Towne Smokehouse in Mechanicsville, VA. Thanks, Guys, for making me look good in their eyes! 😊
The food was amazing. I got the brisket sandwich with spiced apples on the side. Everything tasted fresh. Rich with flavor. As someone who likes buffalo wings, the hot sauce is more on the hot side. The barbeque is heavenly sweet and tangy. The Carolina sauce has a nice zing. All of the toppings and sauces are out on the side so you can personalize your order. Excellent customer service as well.
