Hostess called manager as we requested table outside (place was empty in and out but we had a dog). Manager said NO as it would cause server to walk 2 ft from indoor table by window to outdoor table by window. She was rude and nasty. Did not care if PBR lost party of 14 or if PBR closed. Obviously PBR Hanover does not care either. They need to close down as obviously influenced by Hanover county dislike of visitors. Fast friendly service! Accommodating by meeting pizza request…I wanted half and half with 2 different specialty toppings. Drinks were good and loved the spiced honey dip for the cheese curds!
We like the Trivia game they host on Wednesday. The beer selection is on point.

Pizza & Beer of Richmond - Hanover is known for its excellent service and delicious food, making it a great hidden gem. The patio is perfect for large groups, and the honey buffalo wings are a highlight. Salads and pizza are popular options, with the cheesy breadsticks being a minor exception. Some dishes, like the Mango Habanero wings, could use improvement, but the restaurant generally provides a great dining experience. Customers appreciate the great kids menu, amazing food options, and a wide variety of drink choices. The spinach app and BYO pizzas are amazing, and they have beer on tap that many customers prefer. The music volume is acceptable, tailored to the crowd, and the service is quick, resulting in enjoyable experiences. The jam pizza and Thai chili wings are highly recommended.
Recent reviews highlight the Fig and Pig and Jersey pizzas as great choices, along with Nonna's meatballs served with brick oven bread. The oven is praised for producing fantastic pizzas. Happy hour during trivia is popular, although sometimes the audio can be hard to hear. A customer mentioned visiting for a late lunch/early dinner and enjoying the pizza, even though it was cold, while their companion's sandwich was hot and tasty. Overall, customers express a strong desire to return, appreciating the food and atmosphere.
