“We ate at the Mechanicsville location on our way home from out of state. I always order a chimichanga every time I have Mexican, which is often. I ordered one today with ground beef. When it was brought out to me it looked like a taquito ( a 1/3 of the size). A manager came over and was not happy when I told him that. He said that was their normal size chimi’s. To top it all off when I took my first bite it was lovely.“

Rather, the products are clean and crisp. The vibe is industrial, with glass, metal, exposed brick. The decor has a Scandinavian sensibulity and is relaxing. I like it here. The outdoor seating is plentiful, with a great mix of people.“

“We catered a welcome dinner for our wedding for 90 guests through Jalapenos in Carytown. The event was at a local brewery. We ordered a wide variety of items including tortillas, fajitas, steak, chicken, rice, quesadillas, dip, and other items. All the food was extremely fresh and tasty, with great portions! It came right on time, and was set up perfectly! We received so many compliments on all the food, and people kept going back for seconds. Carlos and his team were such a pleasure to work with, and cared so much about the success of our event. We could not recommend them enough.“

“I’m not really into Phillys but OMG these are amazing! I get the Peruvian Chicken and it’s absolutely amazing every time. So much flavor, saucy, cheesy goodness. The bread is fresh. The French fries are just like McDonalds. And don’t sleep on the wedge salad - best in Richmond. We love this place! It’s expensive but it’s also a very filling meal and the quality is there.“

“Moving from the west coast I was worried I wouldn’t find good Mexican restaurants. Thank god I found this gem! They smoke their meats fresh everyday and it’s amazing! “Great little local market for all your shopping and eating needs. Wonderful wine selection and really eccentric collection of fun foods like unique ramen, high-quality tinned fish brands, farm fresh eggs, bacon, and cheese, and local coffee. Pricier than the average grocery store but it's convenient and the quality is good.

As for the restaurant portion, beautiful outdoor patio and the option to order inside or at the window outside. Lots of good sandwich selections, but I like their specials the most. Get the chili dog and loaded potato soup whenever they're available!“
