Beautiful building in a great location just past the downtown. The gentleman at the bar was extremely knowledgeable. You could tell he loved the world of cider, mead, and wine. It was a Sunday. A musician was playing out back, he was very good and it made the whole atmosphere so relaxing. Sipping cider while watching the leaves fall was magical. Great food truck that day serving Asian cuisine, and it was yummy! Nice place for events!
I'm so glad we found Mt. Defiance Cider Barn while in Middleburg because this place was absolutely wonderful for some ciders in a welcoming space. Fortunately, we spotted it on the side of the main drag when entering in the town, so made a mental note to check it out on our way out. Mt. Defiance Cider Barn is in a barn up on a hill. This cidery is beautiful, sized for large events, ample parking, clean restrooms, easy accessibility. They serve delicious cider and have a nice outside seating area. Have a food truck on site and there was live music when I was there.
