I have never ever had a bad meal here. The food is always on point and delicious. Love seeing the new seasonal items the chefs come up with and the drinks are all delicious. Highly highly recommend!!!
Exquisitely prepared Appalachian fare with unique game meats such as wild boar, duck and venison in a tastefully appointed Victorian storefront. Dishes were freshly prepared with attention to service. Extensive whiskey menu with seasonal and designer cocktails. Four stars because the duck breast, which seemingly was prepared sous vide, was served at room temperature (neither hot nor cold) over hot grains and greens and the temperature on the $40 dish did not appeal to the palate.
The food and service were incredible. I had the vault breakfast sandwich and to be honest it is up there for the best Ive ever had. The waffle bun was a little crispy on the outside and delightfully fluffy on the inside. The balance of savory crispy bacon egg and cheese and poblano mayo with the slight sweet of the waffle was to die for.
