“I didn’t get the young man’s name, but the man with the short hair on the sides and what looked like was probably a long ponytail wrapped under his hat was by far the best service I have ever had coming into the restaurant tonight! He was so friendly, conversed about the food and gave his own thoughts/perspective, and even let me try the pork belly to help me with my decision. Very thankful for his help and kindness!Dietary restrictions: I am strictly dairy free and it is so nice to have somewhere to go that has a huge selection of dairy free foods!“
“I’ve tried lots of bubble tea and milk tea and matcha milk shakes around Richmond area, this place has it’s own Zen vibe! I loved the shake, and there boba is different from the others, less sugar and more fluffy! Also, there ice cream ( shaved ice) is really a unique experience! #OMARating: 8/10!“
“The crab rangoon was delicious and the dipping sauce was better than sweet and sour... Maybe a sweet chili sauce? I ordered through door dash and ended up not getting my wings but when I called the store they were so sweet and ready to make it right. I did ended up getting my wings and they threw in some extras for the inconvenience. The wings were good but don't think bonchon. I would say these were like regular chicken wings with a light sauce on them. The spicy is quite mild (my husband actually added hot sauce to his) so I recommend it over the soy garlic. Wendy's spicy chicken nuggs are spicier just for some comparison. They may have been crispier had I eaten them fresh but they didn't have the signature crisp I have come to know and love from Korean fried chicken. I also got the mango snow cap drink and it was delightful! The milk foam was mixed all throughout the drink which contrasted nicely with the mango. Check them out and let me know what you think!“
“I'm a regular at BAMBU, having frequented their locations in Houston and New Orleans, so I'm familiar with their menu and have tried it before. The Richmond branch maintains the same offerings but adds a Virginia twist. It offers a serene and inviting atmosphere, perfect for work, study, or relaxed conversations. The servers were friendly and accommodating, patiently assisting us with our orders. At BAMBU, Vietnamese desserts take center stage. Opting for the Fruit Addicts, I enjoyed a delightful combination of coconut milk, jelly, and various exotic fruits. While this was a fantastic choice, their other menu items are equally appealing.“
“The name stands for “bread, coffee & tea.” It’s best to go during the daytime because in the evening they run out of a lot of things. I like that you can choose your own pastries with tongs; there’s a great variety. They have excellent milk tea too— not the powder stuff but the real deal from what I can tell.“
“I have tried almost all of the teas and every one of them is delicious! My grands love the mango, strawberry with mayvhing bubbles of course!! I'm a fan of the tapioca pearls myself. Now that it's getting warmer, we'll be trying the Froyo too! Can't go wrong at Happy Yappy!“
“Loved the Taro Milk Tea! Do you have those little treats that are sure fire pick -me-ups? Milk tea or boba do the trick for me- king Fu tea's taro tea was sweet, creamy and not too strong. Plus- who doesn't love marketing that reminds you to be fearless? Excited to try more flavors.“
“Ventured to Tsaocaa with my cousins for a delightful boba tea experience, and let me share the highlights. The spacious parking lot welcomed us, although there's no drive-thru option. Inside, the ambiance is charming and offers ample space for relaxation or work. Their efficient ordering machines ensured our drinks were swiftly prepared. Opting for the Melon Milk tea with Yogurt Boba was a stellar choice. Its creamy texture and refreshing flavor, complemented by melon bits, were truly satisfying. The Yogurt boba, a unique touch, added a delightful burst of flavor that intrigued my taste buds, although my cousin wasn't as keen. Their fruity option, while not overly sweet, was equally enjoyable. Overall, Tsaocaa earns a recommendation as a fantastic boba destination.“
“I LOVE IT HERE!! Every chance I get, I order an Oreo flavored brown sugar bubble tea, and it's so Delicious and Addictive!!!! Excellent service and atmosphere when I visit. I haven't tried the bread and pastries yet but heard they were amazing! Thx Brecotea for the experience!!“
“Shop is cozy and tranquil. The customer service people were awesome and even reminded us of the cards you can get whenever you get boba. Get 9, get the 10th one free!I got the watermelon dragon blast with popping boba, it was absolutely amazing ❤️“
“One of the best banh mis I have ever had. I tried the number 1 (combination cold cut). The bread was crisp, the veggies had the right amount of pickling, and there was the perfect amount of spice to it. Extremely affordable as well. We also got the shrimp chips, which are always good. This will definitely be my new go-to.“
“I've been meaning to try this place for a while, and I was absolutely not disappointed. Upon entry, I was stunned by how freaking cute everything was. The walls, the seat cushions, the decor- everything was such a lovely vibe it made me really happy just being in the store. Even their bathrooms are tasteful in design. They also have a photo booth with props and to-go drinks/snacks/meals available for purchase outside of the food they make in store. The receptionist was so sweet and helped me pick out some stuff when I was overwhelmed by the options (always a good thing to have lots of options in my opinion). I ended up getting the okinawa brown sugar boba (lower sweetness level), garlic salmon onigiri, and duck egg musubi. The boba was so soft and squishy (which means it is fresh) and the tea itself was the perfect level of sweetness for me. I absolutely love how we are given the option to have our meals warmed up, and I chose to heat up both. The rice was so fluffy and soft and the filling in the ongiri was flavorful and delicious. The musubi was great as well and the duck egg was different from conventional chicken eggs, but the depth of flavor compliments the rice well. My one recommendation is that they have a bottle of hot sauce for customers to use when in the store.I ended up spending 21 dollars on my meal (plus a few extra dollars for tip). In this economy, it is the norm for food like this to be a little pricey so I'm not complaining as long as the quality and service stay at a high level. Plus the fact that they are using sustainable and ecofriendly cups, utensils, and straws makes the cost more than worth it.All in all, I 100% will be returning here way more than my wallet will want me to, and bringing all my friends and family with me.“
“Ordered the Chicken Hibachi, Peppered Tuna Roll, Salmon Avacado Roll, a Thai tea, and a soft drink for $32. The rolls had huge pieces of fish, the hibachi was fantastic, and the Thai tea was super tasty. I'm glad there was two of us because the portions were big for the price! We will be back!!“
“Super cute place with great tea! I branched out from my usual for a strawberry milk tea and strawberry jelly, which the staff let me try (and I'd never had before). They were so friendly and it was delicious! REALLY fresh tasting. We got recommended this place by the owner of Poke Me upstairs (they promote each other) and he said they cut fresh fruit every single day for their teas- I could tell! Definitely worth a visit if you like bubble tea :)“
