As for the food.. it was absolutely DELICIOUS. We were so blown away at the tasting and again at our wedding. The Shrimp and Grits were the biggest hit -- it was such a last minute choice, but it was the most talked about meal. “I have never been here before today. As soon as I walked in my nostrils were smacked with the delicious smell of BBQ! The girl working the counter has the most pleasant smile of anyone I have seen in many years. I had ordered, online, a pound of brisket with the crossroads sauce and 2 deep dish pizzas (the pizza's were the main reason I ordered from here as I have been looking for years for a place in Richmond that has Chicago deep dish pizza), and an order of the baked beans. The pizza's are frozen and I can't wait to try them. The brisket is unbelievably good and while I usually don't care for vinegar based BBQ sauces, the crossroads is mouth wateringly great! This place is a 30 minute drive for me to get to, but I'll gladly be back for more.“
