“We stopped in by chance. It’s our 24th anniversary and wanted to try a new place. The wait staff was amazing! The food, I don’t have words. My husband has the short ribs and I had the seared tuna. It was absolutely perfect. 5 Star hands down! We ordered drinks, a crab appetizer (delicious) and the food was out in no time. Thank you for making our anniversary dinner a delicious one.”

“It is always a treat to into this place. The single scoop is enough for two people really, and it is tasty Hersheys brand. The real draw is the memorabilia for me though. Tons of carnival ride objects throughout the spacious seating area, and smaller interesting things throughout the entire store. There is an antique store associated with them across the street, but, on a Saturday anyway, closed at 1700. There was some cool stuff on the sidewalk that I would've picked up, but we arrived there at 1715! Thought maybe the ice cream employees might be able to complete the transaction, but alas no. Next time. Polite staff, and a whale of a good time to be had for those that enjoy a look back in time!
For those who have not been, Tappahannock is a really cool return to the days of small town America, and if you can time it the festivals that we caught were fun.”

“Have been wanting to stop by for a while to try the root beer.. it did not disappoint!! I actually like it way more than the stuff you buy at the stores... It was pretty dead when we visited. We were only greeted by our waiter (we didn't catch his name) all others didn't even offer up so much as a smile, just acted like we didn't exist. Our waiter was super friendly and gave recommendations on what drinks they offered and various activities they hosted throughout the week. He made sure to come check on us in timely manner and didn't leave us hanging. We will return and try to request him for future visits.”

“The place is kind of older but the food is always great and always fresh my go to is the chicken wings with pork fried rice or the Generals chicken and beef and broccoli it's better than the one in Warsaw the hunaan village and beats there prices”

“If Starbucks didn’t exist, we’d have to invent it. That said, the coffee feels overpriced for the quality. Usually, my go-to is the chai latte or a regular latte. The service is consistently good, but the seating really depends on the location.”

“We were vacationing in Kinsale and stopped by today about 3pm per a review we saw. We had our dog and was told that they let dogs on the patio. Tony stopped out to chat with us and was very accommodating. The food was outstanding! We ordered the Oyster Rockefeller, Arancini, and both ordered the Rockfish with lemon & thyme, fresh asparagus and roasted potatoes. Hailey, our waitress was wonderful and very accommodating with our dog and brought her a water bowl too. Thank you for the wonderful food and hospitality! Will definitely return when we are in the area again.”

“Every time I drive through tappahannock I stop at this burger king. The staff are friendly and get the orders out quickly. The food is always hot and delicious. Not sure what they do different but the fries are alway AWESOME. I've had to start getting 2 orders of fries with my meal every time I go because they are so good. If I lived nearby I would eat there all the time”

Also we would like to commend Star a waitress at Applebees in Tappahannock Va She has such a great personality and greets and treats all,patrons as if she has known them for a long time rather than you are just a patron that she has to wait on and serve. She treats you like family and is prompt in taking your order, bringing you your food and checking on you to make sure everything is ok or to see if you need anything. Star is a great asset to the Applebee’s team

“Tried to get donuts as we have never been there. Drive through was around the building, so we went inside. Girl got an attitude about us coming in. So we left. Manager came out yelling at us. We said lock the doors if you can't come in, she said she can't cause they have app customers that need to come in. Really........ put a sign in the door. She said they can't.... really. Done with dunkin..”
