We arrived at 5pm on New Year's Eve, just as they were closing. We were met by the owner who kindly said they were closing earlier than usual to attend NYE engagement. He offered us a complimentary bottle of their lovely Petit Verdot to take with us...how kind! We will definitely return to enjoy your beautiful winery and wines. Thank you so very much!
The winery and cidery (Life is Hard Cidery) are at the same location and have spectacular views of pastures and fields. There's a cute cat on the property and dogs are welcomed on the patio! You can create your own flight of 5 wines or ciders. Skip the wine and go for the cider! They are both on the dry side. There's a galore of chocolate truffles, which paired well with the wine. We were looking for a kid friendly winery that had a variety for our group of four adults and four kids. We called ahead and did not require a reservation but we're advised that the pavilion is where we would go and would be kid friendly. parking was easy. There was some outdoor seating but I am guessing that's more for the warmer months. We sat inside and there was a great variety of tables as well as sofas for casual conversations and wine going.
