About Colonial Dining Room

The Colonial Dining Room, located in the Natural Bridge Hotel and adjacent to Natural Bridge State Park, offers a cozy and friendly atmosphere for guests. The restaurant features a variety of beers on tap and a fully stocked bar for visitors to enjoy. The staff are attentive and kind, making for a comfortable dining experience. The Power Bowl, while potentially too sweet for some, remains a health-conscious option for those seeking a lighter meal. Traditional breakfast options are also available and are generously portioned. The restaurant is known for its great food and friendly service, with many guests praising the friendly servers and the quality of the meal. The pancakes, in particular, are highly recommended, described as crispy and almost deep-fried, with one guest calling them the best pancakes they have ever had. Prices are reasonable, with a Power Bowl, orange juice, and coffee costing around $15.58. Overall, the Colonial Dining Room is a wonderful spot for a classic, relaxed stay close to Natural Bridge.

It has been quite a few years since I have eaten at this restaurant. I wanted to take my sister somewhere nice for her birthday. I was soooo disappointed. I was expecting to eat in a nice dining room with white tablecloths and nice atmosphere. We were seated in the tavern. Food was probably the worst I have eaten or tried to eat in a long time. Desert was good and waitress was very nice. Since I knew how it used to be compared to how it is now, had alot to do with my disappointment.
Breakfast with a view.
I visited on a very quiet weekday morning. Only myself and one other table of guests were present.
Ordered their omelet.
Good coffee.
Good food.
Amazing view.
What a magical place! But the real magic is in the staff and the people. Everyone was so kind and we enjoyed making connections with the staff and all of the guests. We feel like we were transported into another time in place. Such a little jem hidden in the mountains
