“This is a good place to stop and get a quick bite to eat and use the bathroom and get gas there food is really good to be made in a convenient store and the people working in there are always friendly when you go in there so I would recommend this place to anyone“
“Southern Kitchen is a long-time institution in New Market. Get the fried chicken. Strangely, they serve beef gravy with the mashed potatoes, but it's real mashed potatoes. House made blue cheese salad dressing is really good. Skip the BLT, there's hardly anything to it, too skimpy and never got the mayonnaise we requested. Salads are fresh and generous. Don't expect gourmet, it hasn't changed in 50 years. The atmosphere and service are great.“
