“Usually at Cracker Barrel I'm very satisfied with the food, but today the new BBQ chicken tenders were not as expected. They were tough, hard to cut, and chewy. Plus the extra sauce for dipping was cold. Cracker Barrel might want to rethink this dish. Wasn't impressed at all. Cole slaw was very good. The waitress did comp the tenders and that was very nice of her. She was great.“
“The older ladies that work in there are the greatest!!They don't give me attitude when I say easy/no seasoning on the fries. I haven't had the fries hot & no seasoning salt....it's either hot & too much salt for me to eat them or cold and the right amount of salt, but they taste gross. So forget it...I'll do without the fries.Now, to the chicken sandwich. It's kinda expensive, but I believe it tastes better than Chick-fil-A. I'm loving the thick sliced dill pickles! And the mayo, it's delish if you scrape about half of it off. ? make my mouth water!!!“
“I've eaten here a couple times, and loved it. Most recently, I ordered the pulled pork Mac n cheese skillet. Baked beans and hush puppies on the side. All of it was delicious, but the baked beans were the best I've ever had, hands down! Really good service and cool “
“I wanted Dried chipped beef gravy with biscuits. They never heard of dried beef gravy. I was in the south. So I got some other gravy they make. Tasted like just flour and water ! The biscuits wasn’t to write home about either. I also had scrambled egg shell and all. In the paste I’ve bought many cloths there so while I tried to shop , 2 floor ladies that worked there was on my sides shoulders away from me. I couldn’t turn either way without bumping into them. I found 2 sundresses and a shirt that I was going to buy but with these 2 , I put them back and told my friend I’ll wait outside for her and walked out. We ended up shopping elsewhere and spent more than I expected. They’re loss not mine.“
“Vegetarian options: Most of the dishes did have a meat component, but there were some vegetarian options. I had the fettuccine and it was very good!Parking: After 5:00 on weekdays the nearby parking lot and street parking are free, otherwise they are metered in the parking lot and limited to 2 hours on the street.“
