This is the best restaurant in Hampton Roads without exception. I truly believe it is Michelin quality. The service is spectacular and the food is absolutely wonderful.
Kip was our waiter, and from the moment we walked in until he held the door for us when leaving, he gave us the best service! Attentive, friendly, and enthusiastic about making our visit wonderful and unforgettable. We felt like royalty...important...friends of the owners even. We celebrated a friend’s birthday at Circa 1918 last night, and it was one of those evenings where everything was simply amazing.
The food was exceptional, the service was warm and attentive, and the entire experience felt thoughtful without ever feeling fussy. There’s something to be said for a restaurant that understands great hospitality is about more than what arrives on the plate. It’s about how you feel while you’re there.
