Gus’ is an awesome family restaurant, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood/plaza, with great food. The service is excellent, friendly and pleasant. The restaurant is very clean.

Visited this restaurant recently and had a positive experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the facility appeared clean throughout. Staff members were friendly and professional, making the visit comfortable and enjoyable. Everything was handled efficiently. Overall, I would gladly return and recommend this location.

Casual pizza & wings sports bar atmosphere with fantastic traditional wings and NY style pizza. The meatlovers was great with quality ingredients.

I love coming here!! They are super nice and the food is delish!!! The prices are amazing and they have daily food and drink specials.

First time ordering a Gus's pizza, got a lg pepperoni nothing extravagant. I usually have my favorites and my number 1 place for pizza, now I still have my faves but my number 1 pick has changed. Gus's New York Style Pizza is my new number 1 for carry out pizza, I am hooked after my first pizza from this establishment it was delicious! I cannot explain it better than Delicious. I recommend Gus'New York Style Pizza in Newport News and just see for yourself what you may have been missing in your neighborhood ultimate pizza hunt.

Best New York style food I've had in years. Amazing experience with Zack great service from him being the only one lining tables and the bar and being able to keep up with the flow of everything.
Atmosphere in here is calming relaxing and a fun place to be in with amazing music and food and entertainment.
Would 1000% recommend this place and food to other people.

10/10 can’t wait to come back here in maximum a week and a half. Zack, our server, was very attentive and active, especially running the floor mostly by himself. He was able to tend to us and other customers around the restaurant whilst still maintaining the bar. The food here is delicious. Plus all the selections they have, and I feel like I don’t need to worry about getting an option they don’t normally make, because it seems they constantly have to make every option!

Came here with a couple friends, we had a great time. The place looks nice on the inside and is clean, including the bathrooms. Food came out quickly and was amazing. Our server was efficient, kind and even patient when we needed more time to look over the menu. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good dinner with a nice atmosphere. Zack was the best server anyone could ask for.

I am from Connecticut and we top NYC pizza. But I do enjoy NY style pizza when I visit NYC . I had the cheese pizza and the chicken supreme from Gus pizza this was more like a bar pizza. When you get drunk and anything taste good. The sauce was blend and the dough reminded me of dominoes pizza. I have to say I did enjoy the buffalo wings nice size and very flavorful.

They promote being a new york style pizza. And being from NY , da Bronx to be exact, the pizza was nothing close to being a NY style pizza. Also their garlic knots had no real taste.

Salad is 1/2 a head of lettuce, hot house tomatoes & a square piece of feta cheese. The pizza is too oily & the crust is like thin cardboard.
