A fun place with live music, a wide-ranging menu, and a great selection of taps. Food is largely good-not-great, but it's at a fair price and they have great variety, so there's something for everyone. Drinks are reasonably priced and they have *ton* of options (20+ most nights) and it's a great spot to just sit and relax. Parking can be a bit tricky but the nearby area is walkable enough.
Just recently moved here from a large city. I'm sort of conflicted; The food value and experience were all terrific, I imagine the more people figure it out the longer the lunch wait times will be. 😁 That said; I've had a few things on the menu but the Thursday burger special is king. A big, beautiful burger, carefully prepared. The fries are hot and fresh and 7 bucks is hard to believe. It takes some time, there's only one cook, so if you're on chow...
I have eaten at Hilton Tavern several times and have been happy each time. The menu has a good range of options for anybody and the food is pretty good! The service has been hit or miss for me but never any real issues other than speed of service and slight inattentiveness. Overall, I recommend Hilton Tavern and will continue to visit when I am in this area!
