Rocky Mount BBQ offers fantastic food and great prices. The restaurant provides on-time catering for events. The BBQ is standard, but the Brunswick stew needs more vegetables and seasoning. The sweet potatoes and hush puppies are delicious, and the banana pudding is excellent. The staff is prompt, friendly, and attentive.
Customers praise the restaurant's big chicken wings and delicious barbecue. One customer, who first visited while in the Navy, makes sure to stop by for sandwiches whenever they're in the area. The atmosphere may be lacking, but the food and service are excellent, with one customer describing their husband's "face of happiness" after the meal.
