Food is great but way overpriced. It is also ALWAYS super slow. I just came in at 11am with no one ahead of me. It took 24 minutes for them to put chicken salad on bread and fry up sweet potato fries. I’ve waited 45 minutes before when they were busy. Don’t go on a time crunch.
Safe offers a lovely, large, open seating area perfect for lunch. They apparently use at least some of what they grow in their food. I got the Anderson's chicken salad sandwich (which had twice as much chicken salad as I could eat between slices of delicious gluten-free bread), and my son got a Reuben, which he said was really good. They also had good sweet tea, which was strong but not overly sweet.
Great locally owned restaurant. Perfect for brunch , lunch and dinner. The food is locally sourced and the menu changes with the season. Very nice staff, clean tables and interesting decor.

Menu updates! Corn beef Sammy was incredible. The flavors mix so well together. I got mine without the jalapeño. Highly recommend!
