I’ve been to Hector’s so many times, I don’t even have to order anymore. They know me like Norm from Cheers, and honestly… I’m not mad about it. If you want good food, good folks, and that warm, small-town feel that’s getting harder to find these days Hector’s is the spot. Highly recommend you swing by. But fair warning: after a few visits, they just might memorize your order too.”

“Great staff, great beer, and always quiet in the evenings. Sitting on a farm and not having the noise of the crowd, traffic, or whatever else is the attribute I like most about their spot. Also, they are very pro-veteran/military. I’m a long-time customer. Jim saves bees and has honey on site. You can bring your own food, but they have light snacks. Check their FB page for the food truck options. You can also get a Christmas tree and they are a Harvest Host site.”

“I ordered two Cortados (forgot to take pics), both were very good. I got one with whole milk and one with almond milk( I always wanted to try, but after tasting I don’t recommend). I definitely suggest staying with the whole milk. Very cool atmosphere and the owners were extremely nice and friendly. They wanted to listen to their customers and see if there was any drinks they could consider adding to the menu. I told them plain sparkling water to have with the cortado and they liked the idea and were going to look into getting some. Not many coffee shops where the owners are so welcoming, friendly and ears open. I recommend stopping in and getting a coffee of your choice, you won’t regret your experience.

(only because it didn’t come with a sidecar) but 3 bc it came in the right glass. Lots of places don’t know how to serve a proper cortado.

“A friend and I meet at Theisman's restaurant for lunch quite often. I live in Alexandria and she lives in Warrenton so it's a great middle point. We both love the food and the hostesses and waitstaff are excellent. The atmosphere is nice.. the reason I gave it 4 stars is that the music in there was so loud. We decided to sit on the porch thinking it would be quieter and it was such a beautiful day... unfortunately the music was extremely loud out there too and seemed to increase in volume as we were out there for about 2 hours. I noticed a few other people were saying that it was so loud too. We should have said something to the hostess but we had not seen each other in awhile. Wonderful place, but people do want to be able to talk and hear each other. Hopefully, this will get to the right ears ?”

“This was my first time at Nathan’s Dairy Bar. I got the hot apples with pumpkin pie and graham cracker twist soft serve ice cream. AMAZING. quickly became one of my favorite soft serve spots in all the places I’ve lived (which is a lot). The ice cream wasn’t overly sweet but had a nice obvious flavor without that cloying fakeness ice creams often have. Partnered with their spiced, warm apples they serve on the side to avoid melting it was possibly the perfect fall treat. The apples were nicely cooked and slighhhtly crunchy while still being obviously stewed in the caramel and spices. They had a bold flavor that was again perfectly sweet instead of dripping in sugar. SO good.”

“I was in Manassas for business meeting and we finished early, decided to find a place for lunch. Jumbo Lump Crab Cake was 15 minutes away but we decided to go there based upon the Yelp Reviews. The food was excellent, the crab cake and sides were better than we thought they would be. This is carry out only, but that's just fine. The staff was super polite and hospitable. I forgot to get the receipt (I needed it for business expenses), I called them, and they immediately took a picture of the receipt and texted it to me, as promised. I wish I lived closer but I will visit again, and will try the other dishes. Excellent!”
