The best food. Kinda mellow lighting but they put me by a window so not a issue. Great food lots to choose from. Waitress was so sweet, nice offered us tastes before purchase. If your Norfolk native and you don't take people here when they visit your missing out. Norfolk Experience is AW Shucks. Oh bring cash you get a few bucks off if u pay cash.
Whatever brought you to Norfolk, you need to eat here. I literally got off a flight and went here before my hotel. Don’t miss this place.
Beautiful local oysters. Tempura fried soft shell crab. An easy going atmosphere with service that is friendly but never obtrusive. Food this good has no business being here but thank goodness these folks are sharing their gift with us.

I had a fantastic lunch at A.W. Shucks Raw Bar & Grill during a work trip, and it did not disappoint. The shrimp and soft-shell crab were absolutely out of this world. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared.
The service was also excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. The food is definitely worth the trip, and I hope to make it back in the future so I can enjoy the full raw bar experience.
