Parking: The restaurant was hard to find from the road, even with GPS. No clear signage. At the lobby of a Marriott hotel - their website could have just said that to give a better idea where to find them.

Came in today and things were pretty quiet. The bartender didn’t acknowledge us until we came to the bar and then she said “menus”? And then said they’ll bring it to us after we had already been waiting. There was one chef, a bartender, and one server.Calamari came out cold and was mostly deep fried banana peppers. I counted two pieces of actual calamari. There was a bug in my water. My friend ordered the jerk chicken pasta and watched someone else get theirs after we came in and she got hers super late. They ordered the same thing and got theirs first. The server was very nice but other than that, the service wasn’t great.L

Great food and service. The house made bread pudding is amazing. Highly recommended. Reasonably priced also.

Anchor Bar and Lounge, located in Delta by Marriott, is conveniently located across the street from The Marriott Residence Inn where we often stay when we come to Norfolk. What a wonderful, friendly restaurant/bar. Deborah, Quacy Anne, Tonya, Jose, Lloyd and Troy are all outstanding employees ???? ????. I was happily surprised when Troy, an outstanding cook, prepared a delicious desert and he, Deborah and Quacy Anne sang a surprise happy B-Day song for my 70th. We definately will be back! Thanks so much for the excellent service and delicious meals.

Tired and really didn't want to venture out for dinner so I tried the hotel diner. The menu had changed greatly from what is currently available online. I ended up ordering the Delta Crabcakes. They weren't very big at all and the flavor bland. What was supposed to be a garlic aioli was simple mayo smeared on the plate. The "whipped potatoes" were a horrible combination of instant and boiled red potato skins. The veggies consisted of barely sautéed squash and bell peppers with over-sautéed onions and mushrooms. For $26 I should've door dashed.
