“Our company likes to order a "larger" order for normally around 15 people at least once a month from Honey Baked and after a not so great phone conversation a few weeks ago we had not even thought about ordering from this location again. But today, Maddison changed all of that. She was so kind and fit us in for our order. *It is recommended to call 24 hours ahead so they can properly take care of your order in a timely manner.“
“Took some house guests to the Amber Lantern, the food and atmosphere were excellent. It’s a much quieter restaurant than some of the others in Chesapeake so you can actually have a conversation without yelling. I love nice drinks when I’m out and they don’t really have a good drink menu so you have to come up with ideas on your own. I recommend they fix that. All in all this is a very good restaurant. It is tucked away off the beaten path, but that adds to its charm. Our server was very good. The only reason I’m not giving an overall excellent rating is for the drink menu and the fact that our first impression was of a young staff member loitering near the entrance and cussing while taking to someone else.“
“I ordered a "monster burger" combo off the menu... It was the best burger I've had in a few months. It was so good and cooked well done. It wasn't dry and the fries came already salted and peppered. As a girl from New York City, this place is almost like a sliver of home here. I was really happy with the service. Awesome.“
