Dinner at Glass Light was a spectacular, memorable experience. The food was all delicious, expertly prepared, and the menu was creative enough to be interesting, but familiar enough not to be intimidating. Service was awesome, delivered by a delightful, friendly professional waitress that knew the dishes well enough to give clear descriptions and personal recommendations. On top of all that, the surrounding glass artwork provided us with a beautiful and interesting environment....
Went for a retirement celebration and was seated at the chef's table. Spontaneously tried the chef tasting and was blown away. Everything was beautifully presented and Chef Jeff and Ren did an amazing job. In between the meals we were afforded an opportunity to venture to the art gallery of glass next door and take a break from our 5 course meal. This was the best dining experience I've glad in Norfolk and it's something to come back to seasonally when their menus...
My experience at the GlassLoght was nothing short but amazing. I ended up having a birthday dinner by myself and my waitress Dianne was so sweet and attentive. They had a birthday card displayed at my table and even the other workers would walk past and wish me happy birthday. It made my experience even more special. The food and cocktails were great. It's definitely a spot I would visit again. FYI to anyone reading this, definitely make a reservation. They are a small spot...
