“Ordering was easy and gentleman asked all the appropriate questions and proceeded to make my selection. I stepped up to pay ordering chips and drinks. The lady was very helpful. I found the root beer wasn’t working and spoke to Raphael who asked me to give him a couple of minutes and then to let it run to ensure it was mixing properly. It was fixed shortly. I got my drink and my bagged purchases and left. Overall great experience at this location especially since it was noon and lunchtime crowd. ☺️“
“My family and I really like this location. Our food has always been great and our orders have always been right. The wait is usually short, and it's still a reasonable time even when they're busy. The staff has always been friendly and helpful when I've been there. My parents and I like their #13 Italian sub. My brother LOVES their toasted chicken bacon ranch.
Parking: Parking can be a challenge if the lot is full, but if you hit it at a time when the little shopping center it's located in isn't crowded, it's not bad at all.“
“My coworker Danielle and I came in today on 3/20 around 11:30. And the service was beyond amazing. Although they were extremely busy with orders, they did not seem under pressure nor show any signs of it. I did not get the names of the young lady and 2 gentlemen that were working. As we waited our turn to place our order they were friendly and engaged with us. Besides the service, we are trying the bowls for the first time and they did not disappoint. “I have to give the biggest shout-out to one of the BEST customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time, all thanks to the tall African American gentleman with the big curly hair at Jersey Mike’s (his name is Key, I later found out). Let me just say—this man is nothing short of phenomenal.
From the second I walked in, he lit up the room with his energy. He greeted me with a smile that felt genuine, warm, and contagious. Even with a line of 15+ people trying to order, he stayed locked in, attentive, and made everyone feel taken care of. I changed my mind mid-sandwich on what I wanted, and instead of frustration, I got reassurance: “No problem at all.” And he delivered it perfectly—exactly how I wanted it.
Here’s what blew me away: this man didn’t just work—he owned the room. I literally watched him sing and dance to the music playing while he was hustling to make food. He had a smile on his face the whole time. In this day and age, too often you walk into a business and feel like you’re inconveniencing the staff. But not here. Key made it clear that he was happy to be there, happy to serve, and happy to bring good energy into the place. That’s rare, and it’s powerful.
Meanwhile, while some others on the team stood around or slipped to the back during the rush, he was grinding nonstop, pushing through, and still delivering service with joy. That type of hustle, paired with positivity, is what makes a business shine.
Oh—and let me not forget—the sandwich itself? A 10/10 masterpiece. Fresh, delicious, exactly how I like it. The store? Clean, organized, welcoming. Between the food and the service, it’s a win all around.
As a business owner myself, I can tell you employees like Key are one-in-a-million. He’s the type that not only makes customers want to come back, but also sets the tone for the whole team. Whoever manages this store, you should know you have an absolute star on your hands. Reward him, appreciate him, and build your team around people like him.
