“They go above and beyond: I joined my book club ladies for dinner last night at Press 626. I have some mobility issues and was advised to take the back steps upon arriving. I was well assisted up the stairs and taken to our table. The servers could not have been more pleasant. When it was time to leave one of the female employees assisted me down the front steps and to my waiting car. They made me feel very comfortable and welcoming. Thank you so much.“

“Went there for a late dinner last Saturday during my family’s visit to Va Beach and loved it. The owner was very friendly and showed us how the self-pour worked and how to order food. The beer selection was plentiful and it was nice that there were wine choices (including sangria) for the non-beer drinkers in our party.
My BYO Burger, my wife’s chicken sandwich, my son’s Smokehouse Burger and Buffalo Chicken Dip were great!
The atmosphere was chill and being on the roof was perfect with the great weather of Labor Day weekend.“

“I’ve eaten here now 5 times. Gone for an evening date, family gathering of 8, and a regular dinner for 4 out and about in town. They can accommodate anything. The food is excellent, creative and unique. Staff is nice and helpful, and hardworking. This is a staple for me. Parking on the street hasn’t been a problem but also garages are available or uber if you are enjoying the neat drink menu.“

“Another excellent meal at Omar's Carriage House. The pork belly fried rice had just enough heat to it but not so much as to overwhelm the flavor.“

“We came here as a group of 6 on a Tuesday evening, and we were seated at their smallest table. When we asked to be moved to a larger (there were 3 open larger tables) we were told that the "wait" was too long. All 3 tables sat empty the entire time we ate. 3 of the 6 people in our party ordered the blackened sword fish at $34/plate. The orders came as grilled and they were severely over cooked. When we mentioned that the orders were wrong, we were told that they could take that fish back add blackened seasoning and re cook the same (already overcooked) fish. We asked to speak to the manager, whose immediate solution was to take off the automatic gratuity and just not tip our server. We never got an apology for the food being wrong, and the manager was completely rude the entire time. The manager's final solution was to take $4 off of a $80 bill. We will not be back.“

“Called in my order to surprise my fiancé with breakfast for his birthday. 🎂 I mentioned this to Karen, when I picked it up she told me she put a candle in his pancake. Such a kind gesture. She even wrote Happy Birthday 🎉 on the container. So very sweet. Excellent customer service. I always encounter a great experience whether I’m dining in, calling in, or ordering online. But I most definitely wanted to shout out The lovely Caring Karen. As always I highly recommend Belaire Pancake House.“

“Just left here. Showed up at around 6:30 with no reservation on a Friday. Had to wait a few to get seat at bar but no problem. So glad I waited to experience this place. They have a parking lot which is great. Vibe inside is lively but not overwhelming, upscale but not uppity, with food to rival their drinks. Bartender Joe was so busy but remained attentive and pleasant. Ordered the fried shrimp app, nachos and ahi tuna tacos. Usually I order ahi tacos at a place and get 2 tiny things. I got 4 which was super shocking. I spent $130 AFTER tip but I ain’t mad it was worth it. Drinks weren’t watery and weak, service was great, vibe was great with a good mix of people and food was well worth the money. Highly reccomend. Also their happy hour is also on Fridays which is unusual.“

“TERRIBLE- WOULD NOT RECOMMEND we had a dinner party for our group tonight at 6..we had a set menu and our main course did not even arrive until almost 9:30 pm. Waiter mentioned how under staffed they were but that didn't make up for the horrible taste in food and when it did arrive how cold it was. Manager did nothing and we literally did not leave till 10. This on top of the horribly small portions we all had to share with appetizers (between a party of 14) and our actual entree sizes. Would not recommend at all.“

“We visited this restaurant primarily for their delicious desserts. They have a scrumptious coconut cake. I would advise not to visit an hour before closing as they secure the back area and they are stern about it. We had an active toddler that was walking around as we waited and a staff member approached us to remind us it was closed. We were not sitting, but the toddler neede to walk around a bit. This establishment is not kid friendly, as noted by a single high chair that needed to be wiped down.
The chicken is nice and crispy and the puffs are fluffy.
Stop by if you ever need to order a full cake they have been able to do this for me before.“

“I was having a good time until my check came and I was charged a extra drink . the server Amber was very rude , said she was the manager and instead of correcting her mistake and thinking on it , she was rude and dismissive. I had a $20 tip for her. but I wrote on my receipt that extra drink is your tip. Very bad server experience. some people just aren't worth the argument .“

“I went in with an open mind and my expectations were pleasantly met, the food was hot and had a good flavor.
My party stuck to apps since me and friends were going for a drink or 2 and just to socialise.
The mozzarella sticks were quite good, the wings were seasoned and had good notes of the garlic parm and lemon pepper.
The buffaloe bread dip was also worth ordering.
I was honestly pleasantly surprised we had someone that has celiac with us as well and we're able to find a gluten free option the steak bites without the sauce.“
