“I live Yoshi Sushi! They have always given me great service and very tasty food. I worked with sushi restaurants for about 10 years and I can say that the quality is great for the price. I always get the Tropical roll, it’s like dessert. The sushi rice is delicious, cooked just right. Nothing worse than sushi with overcooked rice. The foods that come from the kitchen are also great. Shrimp and veggie tempura, hibachi, and yaki soba are among my favorites.“

“The restaurant has a cozy vibe with traditional Japanese touches like red lanterns and calligraphy signs. What really stands out are the posters of classic Japanese anime—One Piece, Gintama, and Slam Dunk—all over the place, which makes the atmosphere fun and nostalgic.
The food is generally good. The nigiri set is tasty and comes in a generous portion, enough for two adults. The crispy chicken in the chicken don, though, was a bit dry and not as tender or juicy as expected, which is why it lost a star on the food.
Overall, it was a nice spot for a casual dinner on a cold winter evening.“

“I didn't want to have to write a bad review as I've been to this restaurant several times and the food along with the service has always been fresh, delicious and amazing! Today, I decided to order my favorite Lucky AF Roll for lunch. It was a pick up order. By the time I arrived to the restaurant, the food was ready. When I returned to work to eat my food, I was VERY DISAPPOINTED. The sushi tasted old. The tempura shrimp tasted as if it was cooked yesterday or early this morning. The coating and shrimp itself was hard and dry. The crumbles on top of the sushi were stale and even the sweet soy sauce looked like it had been resting on the roll for a day or more. The food was not flavorful at all! It was quite disgusting. Never will I ever order a to go order from here again. Should I decide to eat here, it will be inside the restaurant. They seem to care about the food they serve when you are actually present within the restaurant. Sad to say but for the amount you spend on the roll, the food can at least be freshly prepared.“

“Miyabi has been my go-to sushi spot for almost ten years, and I have never had a bad experience. I’ve dined in, had delivery, and taken out.
The fish is always fresh. I legitimately crave half the menu every week. And the people are so personable and lovely. It’s a low-key environment with staff that care about the quality of their food and the comfort of guests.
I could not recommend you try this Main St. treasure more strongly! Just try a delivery order, and you’ll be happy.“

“My partner and I happened upon this place by accident as we’d had a reservation elsewhere but the staff was terrible.. it was meant to be because Mayu was amazing. Truly.
The vibes were immaculate. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The food was genuinely some of the best I’ve had in carytown.
It took me a second to get the theme of what was going on but once I did I loved it even more. The food came out very fast and everything, legitimately every bit, was fantastic.
We got 2 beers, 2 appetizers, 3 sushi rolls, and split pad Thai.. it was only $75.. and the quality was remarkable. The cucumber salad is so good we tried getting 4 orders to go. The sushi was fresh and well made. The pad Thai may be my personal favorite in Richmond.. I didn’t realize the person bringing us our food was actually one of the owners and what a gem of a human he was.
Above the bar played an anime movie and the wall decor matched. Its subtle anime theme works so well. I just can’t recommend this place enough.
Seriously.
Go. Tonight.. tomorrow night. Daily.
Once they open at 4 today I will be ordering a bunch of that cucumber salad to go.“

“Every was fabulous 👌🏾. The food was great, well seasoned, I had the chicken and filet mignon with extra rice and extra veggies. The salad with ginger dressing was beautiful after that delicious soup starter. Even my 18 month old love the food and cook's presentation. I also had the carafe of plum wine. Take your time with it, it will sneak up on you, very 😋 though and lastly the sushi was a beautiful presentation. Overall a 10 out 10, make sure you are very careful walking in there the floors were a bit slick.“

“Contrary to some recent reviews this place delivered exactly what I wanted. $25 after tax for a steak, shrimp, and chicken expressly cooked hibachi. Steak cooked medium for the best flavor, it definitely won out over the chicken. Shrimp was not rubbery in my experience. Large enough portion to have both lunch and dinner. Definitely will be going back.“

“My boyfriend and I pass here quite often and decided to try out of the blue one night. We entered around 830pm and they closed at 10pm. The meal we received was great. We started with their fresh rolls and each got separate and very different dishes. I tried their milk tea which was amazing and refreshing! This is a must try spot. I suggest go on a week day and at night. The place is quite small inside but cozy. ( if you’d prefer not to wait on a table) Please take time to visit. Parking behind the building.“
