“Incredible! Everyone loved their food. We had the whole tilapia (my husband finished it and said it was the best he’s had), a ribeye, the chicken breast, and half rack of lamb. Everything was delicious! We also had guacamole and arepita chips with white cheese. A perfect starter! I also got lemonade and it was some of the best lemonade I’ve ever had! Go eat here ASAP!”

“This was our first time here man was it good. Nice clean location and the service was great. So nice to walk into an actual pizza restaurant and get hit with the smells of pizza. Most of the places around here, just have pizza as an item on the menu, but not as the centerpiece. I ordered the side Caesar salad was delicious and the spinach and artichoke dip we ordered, was as well, but come on...8 little pieces of bread is not enough for all that dip. We ordered the house pizza to share and it was delicious. This is our new favorite Charlottesville pizza. Paper straws are trash…trash I say, and I will bring my own plastic straws next time.”

We recently went hoping for brunch, but since it’s not offered on Saturdays, we ordered from the lunch menu (the strawberry beet salad looked especially tempting). The dessert list sticks with classics like apple tart, brownie sundae, and cheesecake; we tried the chocolate cake, which was satisfying. Overall, this is a good choice for anyone who wants familiar, well-prepared American standards.”

“Wonderful experience! Hubby and I visited the tasting room for Valentine's Day. We shared the Reserve flight and Valentine's Wine & Chocolate flight. We took home bottles of four of the eight wines in the flights. The food, corn chowder and a crimini mushroom flatbread, was excellent too. It's all cooked to order & served at the table. Very attentive service. Beautiful setting with sweeping views. I'm so happy that we chose it to celebrate Valentine's Day. It'll be easy to persuade hubby to take me again for my birthday in the summer.”

“First timers! We loves this place, fresh bagels with whatever staffing you would like. Great place for a quick bite during the UVA tour. Chicken salad was a hit, regular sandwich was good as well. Choices of cold lemonade and orange juice were a plus for the hot day. Coffee was perfect flavor balanced.”

“I’ve been to Poke Sushi Bowl a few times now and love it! Such a great little treasure in Fredericksburg. The staff have been friendly and welcoming. I was fortunate to travel to Hawaii last year and feasted on authentic poke bowl at Tamura’s. This place does justice to poke bowls! The free cup of hot green tea is what really won my heart though. They sell the same brand of cold green tea served in Japan and the hot tea was also the same as I experienced in Japan. 🍵 I wish this business the best and hope Fredericksburg shows it some love.”

“A truly hidden gem! We were visiting from DC and was looking for some Asian food. Found this place on Google and decided to try it. Wasn’t expecting much for an Asian food restaurant in a small town but it ended up to be top 5 Thai restaurants I have ever had.

The green curry was very tasty and at the right level of spicy. (most Thai restaurants didn’t cook food spicy enough even though it says two pepper spicy or more)

The clay pot was so great and was not something you’d find in any Thai restaurant.

Pineapple fried rice and pad see wee also were very solid. Also highly recommend the lychee iced tea - not too sweet and very flavorful.

My only complaint is the beef was a bit chewy which is often the case in most Thai restaurants.

The place was also decorated very well with very decent service.”

“For a pre anniversary dinner , I chose Vivace and glad I did. Service was a little slow as was the kitchen but that made for a relaxed and enjoyable, romantic atmosphere. Our server Tim was friendly and courteous even if was a bit confused at times. Many tempting choices on the menu but after conferring we opted to share a bottle of San Pelligrino ( I don’t drink and drive ) , the house salad ( home made Gorgonzola dressing was delicious!) and the Veal Picatta. Fantastic presentation and flavor ; tender and tasty veal and the crusty warm Italian bread kept us occupied while waiting for our meal. All in all a wonderful experience and very reasonable prices for such good quality as well. Highly recommended.”

The one suggestion was I found the chicken in the katsu to be overly thin--I could barely notice the chicken (and I love panko).”
