“This is the second time we’ve stopped into Selvedge from out of town to meet with some local friends. Love the ambiance and the beverage selections. It has a relaxed atmosphere, and the noise level is tame so I can actually hear our conversation! Destiny was our server, and she was great—attentive and courteous. The food is 3-4 stars (the nacho fries could be better if there was more of the toppings on the fries). We’ll return to Selvedge because we enjoy hanging out here and enjoy the drinks.”

You all were trying to decide to go powdered or syrup to sweeten it and I was of no help 😂 Regardless, the barista nailed it and I forgot to tell you all! It was amazing. It can be so hard to find a great cortado.”

“Incredible! Everyone loved their food. We had the whole tilapia (my husband finished it and said it was the best he’s had), a ribeye, the chicken breast, and half rack of lamb. Everything was delicious! We also had guacamole and arepita chips with white cheese. A perfect starter! I also got lemonade and it was some of the best lemonade I’ve ever had! Go eat here ASAP!”

“Just ate Dave's for the first time tonight! Both guys behind the counter were great and gave us good suggestions for what to try. We got two sliders -- one medium, one hot -- with fries and extra Dave's sauce. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned. (I love seasoned fries!) Both the medium and spicy slider had generous portions of chicken we could tear off and eat. The chicken was tender, the batter delicious, and I know I'm coming back :)”

“First the restaurant is beautiful. My husband and I both ordered from the specials. His shrimp and crab and there was a ton of large shrimp included and he is still raving about it. The chicken sandwich was so good. We are both also obsessed with the sweet tea with pineapple and mint. Our server, Yahir, also made sure we had a great experience. Our staff also asked to make sure we had everything we need.

“I've had a bagel in NYC and the bagel I had at Bodo's was better. I bit into the everything bagel, and found the combination of flavors and textures to be absolutely delectable. If you go to Charlottesville and don't go to Bodo's, you're missing out big time!!!!”

“Wonderful experience! Hubby and I visited the tasting room for Valentine's Day. We shared the Reserve flight and Valentine's Wine & Chocolate flight. We took home bottles of four of the eight wines in the flights. The food, corn chowder and a crimini mushroom flatbread, was excellent too. It's all cooked to order & served at the table. Very attentive service. Beautiful setting with sweeping views. I'm so happy that we chose it to celebrate Valentine's Day. It'll be easy to persuade hubby to take me again for my birthday in the summer.”

“I wouldn't call this the best dumplings ever. It was delicious, but not the best ever. I'm pretty sure some of my chicken dumplings were still a bit raw. If I was at the restaurant I'm confident they would have fixed it, but I had taken out so couldn't. Staff is very friendly. Flavors were okay. I'd go again, just with different expectations.”

Oh sure it's easy to say that the front of the house staff Kills It Every Night - cause they do. But it's the KITCHEN that Crushingly makes so easy to say I'll be Back!
This night we had 4 dishes and each one was better than the last.
Finish everything up with a tasty mango sticky rice dessert.
Really, terrific and thank you. Great palate cleanser in-between days of turkey and stuffing.
Reservations are highly recommend.”
