“My husband and I are currently on the Whole30 diet. We saw that Tropical Smoothie Cafe was able to make drinks that were approved by the diet, so we decided to stop in. When we went inside, the manager, Tim, showed us the menu with everything in all the smoothies, and he talked to us about what we could and couldn’t have in them. He was very concerned with making sure we got exactly what we needed to keep to our diet. I am very impressed with the management and the staff at this location. Overall, the experience was great and the smoothie was even better.“

“Best place for quick, good smoothies and acaí bowls. The staff are always super nice and welcoming, and the smoothies are amazing. There are tons of options and you can add protein and other add-ons if you'd like. Clean bathrooms too, and when my order got mixed up they offered to fix it and were super nice about it. Definitely recommend if you love healthy smoothies.“

Shazia and her team always make you feel welcome, and it feels good to support their business. My entire family goes there many times per week, and it's always a great experience.“

Latin for bowl. Just saying that because I heard someone mispronounce it. Look I’m a big fan Açai bowls and smoothies rather than ice cream. I definitely feel better as a dad giving them organic açai antioxidants and has such a cool story from its beach side start up.
Seating is limited however, if you do happen to score a outside table with a huge umbrella, you’ll be lucky to people watch during the busy mosaic weekends. Additionally, I’ve had the cold brew and it’s pretty strong nothing fancy just strong caffeine.“

“Last night in a rush, I came to grab dinner and under much pressure and time restraints, not only was I greeted with a beautiful smile by Layla, but the team prepared my food and smoothie in a jiffy! I honestly felt like it was made with love and you could tell the ingredients were fresh and the flatbread was well-prepared. After a long, hard day, something so small like a trip to Trop (lol) really put me in a much better mood. The place was clean and while I waited, the small talk with the team was refreshing. They seem super knowledgable on the menu items and suggested a few new additions I can order next time. I am not one to leave reviews often (sad, but true) but this visit left me no choice! “Visited the newly opened Tapioca Express in Herndon today. Enjoyed their boba and was surprised they had so many snack options!! Favorites were the shrimp tempura with sweet chili sauce and the fried string beans. They didn’t seem very fried which is good in my book. Nicely seasoned too. Their crispy chicken was also good we were able to choose the spice level and I went with medium which was perfect. The chichi fries were great… love the chichi sauce that comes with it! As for drinks I loved the Mangonada. It was so beautiful and delicious for how hot and humid it was outside. Also enjoyed the honeydew snow bubble and combination yogurt frost which tasted similar to a Greek yogurt parfait with fruit. The staff was very friendly, the space is cute but small more of a to-go and enjoy outside type of place. They do however have a high top table if you’re able to snag it! Definitely coming back to try more of their menu soon!“

“Delicious acai bowl, very refreshing and rejuvenating. Service was great, the girl working was all by herself but she turned out 4 orders rather quickly and was very polite and friendly. Good location- my only regret is that I didn't join their loyalty program so I can keep coming back!

Side note: make sure they include bananas if you order an acai bowl- they do unfortunately charge ~1$ for most personalizations (I like to add in cacao nibs and goji berries)- bananas were supposed to be included and they were not.“

“Superior to the competition. Visited a Robeks for the first time today. Completely satisfied. My six year old had a strawnanna berry and I had a piña koolada. The medium was enough to split between two little kids. Good selection of other things on the menu, too. Would definitely go back.“

“I know for the same price I can get my own pint of Haagen Dazs. But it’s one of the few treats I really let myself indulge in. I come here after a big accomplishment at work or need a pick-me-up. I get the chocolate cone with sprinkled peanuts and two scoops of coffee ice-cream - and it’s the best. Nothing hits the spot quite like it. Staff are super friendly. From time to time I may try another flavor. The coffee chip is good too. But I usually revert back. Moments of happiness seem priceless.“

“My 4-month-old and I absolutely love this place. The ambiance, environment, and design are wonderfully spacious and kid-friendly. The top-notch food and drinks, especially the fresh sugar cane juice, are my personal favorites. My little one would probably agree if he could express it (maybe in a year). Overall, I'd rate this place 9.5/10. The only thing missing is an entertainment center or a selfie/promo spot for young adults, but they more than make up for it with their incredible drink.“

“Great smoothies overall. The ABC juice with ginger is consistently good, and their nuts and protein (heavy on peanut butter) and Pina Koolada smoothies are tasty. The pea protein tastes bad—it ruined the Cookie Monster smoothie.

Service is hit or miss. They charge $0.50 extra for no ice, which is fine. However, smoothie consistency varies depending on who makes it—sometimes thick and filling, other times too thin and not filling the cup, like today, which was really disappointing.“

“first time ever ordering from one of these healthy fruit bowls type place, I'd always assumed it was yogurt underneath with fruit on top but wow I sure was surprised to end up seeing it was like ice cream, I got a small cup of the tropical protein with strawberries, chocolate chips, and chocolate syrup (yeah not very healthy of me lol ik) and it was incredible the ice cream tasted kinda like bread which I actually really really liked tho I do think it was overpriced for the size

“Last visit was April 22 and while doing some work at close by Office Depot decided to try it again. Forgot it was going the opposite way to Ashburn otherwise I probably would have ordered from One Loudoun location but traffic wasn’t bad and I remembered it was close to Dunkin. Order ready on time. “Decent boba place. We got the mango drink and taro bubble drink. Mango had an okay flavor and had a good level of creaminess: 3.5 stars. The taro drink had a good amount of lychee jelly/good flavor and a good level of creaminess. It also had a strong taro flavor: 4 stars. There was no wait and we got our drinks pretty quick.“

“The slogan of D** good Burgers is no understatement. Went here the other day with my s/o both of us BYOB and got to try all the different sauces they had for their burgers making every bite a different experience.
I really liked that at the bottom of each order they asked about any allergies, so if anyone did have any concerns, on the surface level it gives confidence that they do put good care in any potential allergies.
The burgers are a bit pricey just themselves, so I was a little sad they didn't even come with a small handful of fries, so I did order them as a side and they were just meh not bad but not great.

Though I might not come back on a regular basis, it is 100% a place to go when you are maybe a little tired of other burger chains since this one sets itself a part quite a bit more!“

Staff was very nice - I put on my instructions whilst using the online kiosk to remove any almond products - just in case since I know a lot of granola is made with almond - I have an almond allergy. The kind lady behind the register saw my request and asked me if I'd perfer to switch to a gluten free granola because their regular granola did contain almond.
I was very happy with how kind she was with the switch because of the almond.

Also I might be biased because I LOVE açaí bowls but the bowl I got was absolutely delicious!

“Love this delightful little yogurt drink and snack shop! Tucked away on the far end of the K-Mart parking lot, Yomie's is one of Annandale's best hidden gems. Despite being a part of a global chain, Yomie's maintains the local vibes with its tiny, cozy shop with only two small tables, and super friendly staff. The yogurt and rice drinks are all delightful, with a rich creamy texture and slightly tangy flavor from the yogurt. You can customize your drink with a bunch of different flavors, including various fruits or dessert-like treats (e.g., Oreo). I love the hawthorn, which gives a nice hint of fruitiness and extra tanginess from the sour chunks of fruit, and it adds yet another texture to mix in with the rice. The rice makes a phenomenal topping, as it gives the drink a bit more body and chew, without all the sugar and with slightly less effort than, say, boba might. The combination feels wholesome but also like a treat.

Yomie's also has a pretty large food selection, including mochi donuts, Korean hot dogs, and yubu pockets. I decided to get two of their yubu pockets, and they were quite sizeable -- two or three could easily be a full meal. The yubu itself was slightly sweet and savory, and it was the perfect vessel for a dollop of warm rice and my toppings of choice. I opted for the spicy tuna and stewed mushrooms, both of which were phenomenal. The tuna was tasty and super rich from the mayo, and I loved the combination of the cold fish with warm rice and yubu. The mushrooms were incredibly flavorful, both from their natural earthiness and the soy sesame glaze they were cooked in. It was nutty, savory, and umami, and all around a delightful vegetarian snack.“
