“My husband and I had dinner at D’Roccos in Occoquan tonight. They are under new management and reviews were great, so we went. Our server, Yun, I believe she said she was an owner or related to the owner (🤦‍♀️).She was amazing as was all the staff. We were a bit hesitant as walked in along with a party of 14 and several smaller ones but it was all hands on deck, for wonderful food, with timely delivery! We had the calamari- cooked so perfectly you could cut it with a fork! The lasagna was very good with a tomato and bechamel sauce with veal and pork. I had the octopus with fingerling potatoes and zucchini… AMAZING! I’m an octopus junkie! Tiramisu was not a classic presentation though it was excellent! We loved it! Check it out! Let’s support our local small businesses!”

“It’s been two years since I’ve been back here and I ordered the same lovely cranberry salad with warm goat cheese on top. The difference in two years was that the goat cheese was 1/4 of the original size. It made me sad. Servers were great. Outdoor location was wonderful. Food was just so so.”

“We will definitely return! Totally were pleased to see a great outdoor area close to kayaking. Service couldn't be better. Delivery was unexpectedly quick! The popcorn shrimp was ample and so well seasoned. The hot pretzel came out overcooked and too hard, but they were so accommodating with a replacement, and didn't ask for it, but they refunded us for the inconvenience. Totally unnecessary, but the thoughtfulness and friendliness caught our attention and is a large reason we'll continue to patronize them. Also, I could definitely bring home a large dish of the cucumber salad -- so refreshing and tasty! Hope there's a fall/winter plan to keep it open. We noticed there were individual fire pits/tables. ☆☆☆☆☆”

“Went with my boyfriend to grab a coffee earlier in the day. I had a mocha and it was perfect! We had to come back the same day later in the afternoon to get some sandwiches before we hit the road again. When I say these sandwiches were 10/10, I MEAN IT!!! Definitely my boyfriend and I’s new spot every time we come back to the area. Thanks guys! Beautiful cafe inside as well.”

“We just want to see the Occoquan old city area just had a close look at the elegance of this beautiful location and want to have a cup of coffee and any snacks, found this Bally whack shack cafe, awesome location went up to the coffee shop ordered some lattes also muffin, the service was excellent, very kind staff on counter, feeling an antique, atmosphere around, had coffee And snacks at outside really enjoying awesome beauty of nature from there . Amazing experience.”

“Such a cute place with great food & drinks. We got the hummus and veggies, but you must try the breakfast on the 'quan shooters - they have bacon 🥓 and orange juice! Their back patio has blankets on every chair and the atmosphere is so quaint. The owner is personable and accommodating. We will be back again!”

“We just stopped here while we’re checking into our Airbnb and I wanted to get some hot chocolate. We ended up getting ice cream and it was the cutest small business! Great service, classic flavors, and you were able to just bring it outside and sit and enjoy the view of Mill St. while enjoying ice cream.”

“Absolutely lovely. For the most part, it's peaceful with music in the background. The food was delicious. My husband ordered the brew, haha mussels, and I had the veggie quiche with French onion soup. I didn't like the French onion soup as much because it was too thick and sweet for me. The non-alcoholic apple cider was delicious. A definite must try place.
The service took a while, but that's only because they're currently short staffed. Our waiter was very informative and attentive.”

“We had a new server- lol she was sweet and made our visit fun. it was cool and the place has changed since they were at the Woodbridge location and before they were in Lorton. The street corn is legit and the chili Mac is true to form.

Parking: It’s on the river walk, plan your visit and you’ll be fine. I have a pulled groin so walking is non trivial. There’s ample handicap parking close by.”

I had hot chicken and burger pizza. so amazing and fresh. and the view while your eating. I had a rough day at work and I'm glad I stopped. it was so delicious. thanks again”

“I love this restaurant. Everything about it from the service to the environment and especially the delicious food is incredible. It helps to either have reservations or selecting a time that isn’t as busy because it’s so popular. My family and I have been eating there for over a year and been back many times. We love the bada bing shrimp for our appetizer. And my favorite personal entrée is the spicy seafood. Here’s a picture of it with a wide ribbon noodle maybeI weither tagliatelle or papardele. Just incredible. Homemade fresh pasta. Five stars out of five for sure.”
