“Loved the brisket! Brisket is very juicy and just melted in my mouth. The brussels sprouts is not bad for a side, good combination with the meat. The pulled pork is also not bad but definitely not as good as their brisket and ribs.”

“Excellent Customer service! I had a 3 hour layover and I'm so glad I chose to sit at Washington Pour Bar, I didn't feel the time fly by. I was greeted with a warm welcome by Wintana and Abby. “First time here on a Friday night. We had reservations that were mixed up. Even though the restaurant was expected to be full they accommodated the 6 of us. The owner came over to greet us. I told him that this was my first visit. (Everyone else had been several times) Oh then he proceeded to bring bite size samples for me to try. He then offered up suggestions as to what I need to have for an appetizer, main course and even dessert. Food bursts with flavor. But the real experience here was the service. First class. “This place is an unexpected gem hidden in a strip mall setting. The food is absolutely delicious. My family is very fond of the brussel sprouts. We've tried almost everything on the menu and we have never been disappointed. Eating in is great but seating is limited. Delivery is always packed well and still warm. Overall I recommend trying Smyrna.”

“We got our food to go since the place is on the small side but the food did not disappoint. The sopes were delicious and the torta chingona was amazing. The torta can definitely Can be shared with another person since it’s on the big side (I think it was obvious from the name) I’ll definitely return!”

“Great dinner. The service was good in both promptness, suggestions, cleaning up, etc. Food was almost top notch and had potential...but wasn't fully what I consider fine dining. It's just a nice place to have a good family and friend dinner...not necessarily a first time business dinner unless you are already networked with them. Between the 4 of us, we had salad Caesar Classique, mushroom soup, NY Strip Steak, pork chop, the special Ahi, and the special sea bass. Everything delicious and just a spot off as fine dining but definitely close to it. We had a couple good desserts also.”

“It was quite slow while I was there. We had 4 adults and a baby. The highchair was a little too large for a 6 month old, and couldn't hold a carrier. So we had her on a chair next to our booth until she decided she wanted to sit next to us. It worked out, but if it was busier it would have been a problem.”

“One of the newest cocktail bars on King street!This place is super cool and has a bit of a speakeasy vibe.We only got cocktails but they were all super good and unique. One of the bartenders, Andres, who was making our drinks used to work at a Michelin star bar and really showed it.He even made us custom cocktails when asked and was very nice to talk to.The atmosphere is very cute and very Instagrammable.The only thing is you have to use wifi because the bar is underground and there's no signal but other than that will definitely be going back.”

“I did a take out of their delicious Aloo and piyaz pakoras for our Iftari a week or so ago. The packaging was great which included a generous amount of their tasty green chutney. I glanced at their menu main items and their prices seemed high. Manager/owner and helper were polite and friendly. Great efficient service. Good restaurant atmosphere. I wish them success with their new desi restaurant.”

We ordered take out after eating there several days prior (second pic with flying dragon roll). I’d say the price is very reasonable for such delicious and fresh sushi. Service was excellent. Will be our go to place for both dine in and take out!”

“Truly delicious! Visited Alexandria and noticed there are lots of ice cream shops to get a scoop you could get at home, but we wanted something special. Goodies is it! We tried the brownie sandwich sundae, the apple donut sandwich with homemade caramel sauce and the Oreo sundae. All were fantastic and my family loved them! Very nice outdoor seating area in a great location. Brandon (the owner) was really helpful and friendly. There was a bit of a line on a sunny Sunday afternoon, but it moved quickly and was so worth the wait. FYI, it was cash only. We'll be back for sure!”

“I was looking for a good authentic west African food place and so glad I found Hajara! I love that she uses great authentic ingredients as my other half’s family does who’s from Sierra Leone. Once we find, we were ordering every other weekend. The food is SO very tasty! I can’t wait to explore the menu. Our favorite is z potato leaves, roast meat, and cassava leaves.”

It's a Pakistani/Indian restaurant so it has all the usual favorites and it also has Karahi. Definitely recommend trying this place out!”
