We stayed at the Charlotte Hotel in Onancock for my wife’s birthday weekend. The staff (Dee & Felicia) were friendly & helpful. The room was clean & cozy and we were pleased that the hotel is dog friendly. We enjoyed cocktails at the bar & the Sunday breakfast buffet.
Most of the shops & restaurants are walkable from the hotel. We enjoyed shopping at Louise’s boutique, Local, North Street Market, Foggy Cafe, and Corner Bakery (yum)!
We spent the evenings...
Well, its not really a hotel. It’s more “rooms to rent.” There’s no one at the front desk to greet you (which we were told about.) But no one ever?!
Very little amenities. Keurig in the lobby (which has no tea), muffins(how old?) granola bars and instant oatmeal.
The room was fine. No tv, no fridge(it’s in the lobby)
$170 is too much!

Lovely old hotel. Quaint and in the center of everything! Never needed a car! Very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly but rarely there. Self check in. No elevator! Fine for us, but 3 flights of stairs would be impossible for some people.
